When I was growing up and lived with my parents I had a collection of cats. Then years later I found them in a box and tried to sell them at a yard sale. Didn't sell all of them and now I really don't know what happened to the rest of them. I love snowmen. I have lots of jewelry. Like collecting vintage kitchen gadgets to display.

I always try and guess what you will pick and figured that you would buy the vintage pitchers. In the first store on a bottom shelf were mugs, bowls and plates which were white with a mauve interior - I loved them. I have no depth perception and always try and use mugs with a dark interior; I use a thrift store find, a set of 4 Corelle mugs with black interiors. I loved the chair too although it was the wrong colour for my house. I am an avid collector - I collect all kinds of antique, vintage and modern glass; I am always buying books too: crime thrillers, Native American history, military history and books about antiques. I also collect vintage linens and use the tablecloths and the tray cloths on my chests of drawers.

The glass Cracker Barrel-my mom had one on the kitchen counter for YEARS! I now have it displayed above my kitchen cabinets. This is the first one I’ve ever seen besides hers...brings back so many sweet memories! I believe they’re from the 1950’s.

But my most favorite candleholder of all is one I found years ago at Tuesday Morning. It's a quirky and oddly-shaped candle lantern made of dark metal and smoky glass, with three "curly metal feet" that make it look like something straight out of _Alice in Wonderland_ or _Dr. Seuss._ 😂 When possible, I like buying collectibles in twos, so to say that I'm a maximalist would be an understatement. But what I wouldn't give to join you for a day of treasure hauls from one thrift store to another! Happy Hunting!😁👍🏼💕

Hi Jessica. I collect rare books (mostly biographies) Boston Terrier items, special lamps, unusual house plants, especially Snake Plants. There is more, but those are some of the main things. :)
