Love the personalized shout-outs. A small break in the middle of the video that's personalized towards whomever is being shouted out - miles above most other creators on that front. The fact it's new every time means I still get to enjoy new content even though it's not gameplay.

You need to put more reanimator targets in the deck imo. The new phyrexian wurm that has ward equal to its power in damage has a nice synergy with invoke justice since it becomes an 11/7 with menace, lifelink and ward - pay 11 life. The deck as it is feels very low to the ground with just dogs and goblins to close the games.

Touch of the spirit realm > soul partition. Can channel it and exile portal on their turn, get the sac trigger again at end step and then on your turn get the reanimation.

I've been running a very similar deck but with Tameshi, Reality Architect to grab back cheap mill and card draw stuff to get to my portals. You can cast instant and sorceries from your graveyard via one of the new sagas (which also mills you) and Prototype creatures give early board presence then turn into targets for Tameshi and the Portals.

i feel like between your 2 different reanimation spells and phyrexian portal this deck really wants a big creature to reanimate. maybe you could even run cityscape leveler as a payoff for the omniscience or a use for the powerstones you're making

Great deck, have been loving playing it. Added a few one-offs including All-seeing arbiter, Cityscape leveler, and Phyrexian fleshgorger that help against decks that don't run a lot of creatures or get the jump on you early. They also all work with Kiki-Jiki and two are artifacts.

I’m currently uploading a Mardu list that dips into the same synergies. Your version is solid but i also feel like if they stop your portal, you don’t have any other way to win the game. Wish there were more things in this list to play off the Multiverse that impact the board state in a significant way.

I've been trying this deck out. It's solid but it's prone to durdling - e.g. do nothing draws. I had one match against a Naya reanimator deck where i had a grip full of reanimation spells and nothing in the yard. Luckily they durdled too so I just stopped playing anything until I could discard PtP because of hand size. Additionally, it's also pretty weak to heavy control decks as they have little to fetch with portal. I'm finding adding 3 of combat thresher to be a solid inclusion. 1) it cantrips which is super important. I've been stuck in many matches needing to draw but having 0 cards in hand with the only creature to pull with PtP being Raffine's informant. Against any discard focused plainswalkers, you can just lose 2) it eats early removal and pairs well against a lot of aggro 3) as it has double strike, whether it is a 1/1 or 3/3 it pairs incredibly well with invoke justice & reflection of kiki-jiki plus you get that free card draw too from the token. It's also a solid to fetch with Portal to Phyrexia as a recurring win con when facing heavy control/low creature count decks 4) It's a body on the board against heavy control/combo To add the 3 Combat thresher, I cut: -1 Faithful mending (now 3 copies) -1 Depopulate (now 3 copies) -1 One with the multiverse (now 3 copies) It may be worth cutting a few more of the end combo to bring in more cantrip aggro traders (e.g. Inspiring Overseer/spirited Companion) but I find it's now a lot more consistent and has better early pressure

more importantly, it takes out a couple of cards which can really muck up hands. I would probably recommend finding space for a counterspell or two just to ensure some important spells have a chance to stick or to slow aggression

First thing I went for is Boros portal reanimate. I have a couple of sanctuary wardens and a cityscape leveler in case playing against a deck with few/no creatures for the portal to hit

Sorry it's long but I hope it's worth the read. I must say I do like the sponsored adds and the cheeky plug. Something I've been noticing with a lot of the videos I watch but they are all just eh no personality to them. Like they are literally there to waste time. The sponsored adds and cheeky plugs always add they bit of dept to the video... they are always interesting and all of the paetron plugs are unique and cool and make me want to become a paetron member for my own shout out. And the adds from Cool Stuff Inc are awesome especially the dragon rider play mat add. I really wish I could get my own. (Are they gonna possibly be available again in the future?) I also wann say, you are an awesome KZbin/person/mage. I've been watching a while now... I miss mono red being in meta because I do miss the "this is mono red" song. Deck should run some big creatures. Too heavy on the memes. New Benalia is better than raffine info. You can discard instant speed whenever so you can hold back surprises. you also get a creature to bring back with invoke that has threat if you need to. indestructible blocker you can play depop into and be fine. good blocker. scry lets you put cards on top you want to cast.

I like this new set, but it's a bit annoying. This feels like what the Kamigawa mechs should have been. Really powerful artifacts that cost a lot but that you can cheat in with clever tricks. The mechs have all that, but the added complexity that they require pilots. It's that little difference that makes mech-decks not really playable. Not if you want to win, at least.
