hello CGB, my arena handle is paper-towel. I played your mono black aggro a few days ago with mono green. I really enjoy your content and try to catch your vids daily. I’m writing this to specifically voice appreciation for this deck and this is why. There’s so much untapped potential out there and the meta felt like it was already getting stale. I’m constantly in pursuit of game breaking innovation and I feel like this qualifies. Brewing decks every day trying to find the slightest advantage while optimizing my enjoyment for the fame. Even though it was someone else’s build you are showcasing, your channel is what put it in the spotlight and saved the short-term magic experience for me. so in short, thanks for all that you do to keep the game interesting and exciting. It does not go unnoticed 🙂. P.S. I look forward to our next game on the ladder. hopefully I’m piloting something a little more exciting!

As a fan that has watched almost every day since the beta ended, I want to share some of my thoughts about the intro. I’m really not a fan of the spoilers in the intro. It takes the suspense out of some of the games and sometimes makes me want to stop watching before the games even begin. I would much rather go back to what worked for so many years, which is to discuss the changes to the deck and matchups in the post game wrap. Either way I appreciate you CGB!

Honestly, when CGB pegged this card as being a format changer, I was 100% behind that. I am very surprised at how long it has taken the meta to pick up on Hullbreaker but it is indeed the horror card I thought it would be. The format is toxic AF right with either Mono White, Mono Green or U plus A Nother. I've completely abandoned the ladder because its even less fun than playing against Rogues every 3rd game.

The kraken is oppressive. It does way too much and essentially becomes removal proof. Once it’s played the game is over. At least with epiphany they have to play 3 copies of a single card.

Hullbreakers isn't quite as good as 'target players wins the game' (emergent ultimatum) but where emergent had a really strict casting cost (double blue/black and triple green) hullbreaker is literally just double blue!
