Congratulations! I also had a baby boy around the same time. It’s such a blessing and although my labor went completely completely different than I expected it, I wouldn’t change it for the world. Women are just amazing. Congratulations to your beautiful family!

Labour with my first was nice a peaceful I slept the whole time, with my second it was so traumatic and extremely fast I didn’t even have any nurses or a doctor in the room the room wasn’t even prepared yet. So glad to hear everything went well congratulations 🥰

I’m in awe at how great Jess’s hair looks a month out.. we need that hair routine! I’m 7 months pp and I bought the Dyson thinking it would help expedite things, turns out, you barely have time to do your hair running behind a 7m old who’s learning to walk (boys are truly different) 😆

A resounding HALLELUJAH for a better birth story for you Jess! I wasn’t in Tennessee, but i was one of the women giving birth August 21st! It was so full in Labor & Delivery that women were giving birth in Triage! All the nurses were saying it was the super moon the night before 😂

I like how they just didn't make a big deal about it. It's 100% normal to have that happen. It happens like 60% of the time. People get sooo freaked out about that happening, but its just a non- issue if it does.

Oh my gosh. My husband’s given name is Cubie and he’s the 3rd!! If we have a boy we plan to name him Cubie and he’ll be the 4th. So wild!! We literally had never heard anyone else with that name or in this case nickname! Also, his whole life people have thought it’s spelled QB, so that comment was spot on. Same with the scooby song. Anyway, crazy to hear you guys say things that are literally a part of my husband’s everyday life 😂Congratulations!! What a sweet little boy 😊

Been here since June of 2018 (I was 17) and my cousin was playing the engagement then wedding videos. I have been here ever since and it's wild that Jess and Gabe are parents now. I'm aware I'm not the only one who thinks this of course. All the little jokes or references to old vlogs I get so excited. Also I still do the dance for "The Sound" by the 1975. Yes! My first baby in Australia I had no pain relief. They said I was too late. My labour in the US was amazing with the epidural. I didn’t feel any pain at all. I didn’t realise how much trauma I carried from the first!

For anyone else afraid of the epidural (like I was) you don’t always feel a bee sting! I felt literally nothing at all!!! Don’t be afraid if it’s something you want! I loved my epidural!!❤

Me too😂. I had to ask if they had done yet. I'm Australian. I really don't know why Jess didn't ask for one the first time. Maybe they waited too long, as I know there is a certain period before it's too late to have one.

I love that you had a much more positive birth experience this time. That epidural really does help 😂 I was the same in my birthing experience where it only took me two pushes and she was out. Gabe describing you pushing was hilarious. Because of the epidural I couldn’t feel myself pushing so I wasn’t even sure if I was doing it right until they said “you’re doing great!” 😂😂

I’ve had an epidural and a home birth and while being home was awesome, the level of pain tainted the whole experience for me. For my next baby, I’ll be having pain relief. Its so much more peaceful for me.
