DIY My perfect everyday dress (It has everything I want in one dress) | Step by step sewing tutorial

Hi everyone,
Welcome or welcome back to my channel. My name is Jess and I love doing DIY, making clothes in a "simply but pretty" way.
In today's video, I'm going to share with you how I made my Perfect everyday dress from scratch. This is the dress that has everything I need in one design. Puff sleeve, square neck, open back, midi length, side pockets and no zipper. It's the dress that I would choose for my everyday outfit. So I hope you will like this tutorial and try it out.

Sewing machine: Merrit Joyful Sewing
Material: 2.5m of cotton fabric in floral printing
My body measurements: 82-64-92cm. I'm 165cm tall and usually wear Small size.

It's not her language that was the problem, her English was always perfect, few have difficulty putting out the words clearly, she couldn't pronounce, no one need to mention it, her patterns & garment construction is on point, just fall in love with it..

I know that feeling. When I started sewing, I dreamed about making beautiful clothes. But they didn't turn out right. And I was so close to give up on that dream. But as it's a dream, it comes back again and again until I can actually made the right one :)

It depends on how you want to go with the back (with or without zipper). You can make the shirring part higher to not showing the back too much in case you don't want to add the zipper. Or you can make the regular back (like a t-shirt) and add the zipper at the middle

Hi Jess, not sure if you’ll read this. But I struggled to sew the skirt to the elastic panel. I tried to stretch while sewing but I ended up pulling so it doesn’t sew. Do you have any suggestions to make this step easier? 😢

You can change the type of the elastic to make it easier. Or you can change the elastic part by using the shirring technique

Just finished checking all your videos . I must say your dresses are amazing😍😍😍. I don't you try something on denim jeans ?? I have removed the vinyl sticker from a pair of jeans I owned but the sticker has stained it , I was thinking of renovating it by painting on it or decorating it , why don't you make a video on it ? Plus I always have this problem of the material of jeans ( including skinny jeans ) gathering at my crotch area and it makes a bump , since I am a girl , it looks weird .
