to help with curls try to remove silicone and sulphates from the products you use, sulphates dry out your hair and silicones weigh it down so that’s not ideal for curls, plopping also helps a lot.
@Maria-fr6tb4 жыл бұрын
That's a good idea! you can use tools online to see if your products have sulphates and stuff in them, and also find products free from these things. Plopping is when you dry your hair by just wrapping it in a cotton t-shirt for a bit-creates less frizz

"a bit more exciting than this"...Grace!! You're the only think keeping me sane! I've got a newborn and were both immunosuppressed, my husband is a key worker and is likely to bring it home so I've had to leave, my daughter and I are in a one bed flat with no garden or company and we are going to be here for 12 weeks minimum. Oh and it's my birthday next week. Yeah, really. I watch your videos when she's sleeping on my chest and it brings me so, so much comfort. You talk like we're friends and it makes everything feel a bit more....normal. I'm very grateful.

Commentator editing Grace is hilarious. 1. Fun Fact: I need more info about thus egg research paper. What do I need to know about eggs that I’m missing!? 2. Oven Issues: You should get an oven thermometer. We had the same issue of things cooking wonky and bought one recently to find out our oven is off by 75 degrees F (~24C) 😩 As someone who really hasn’t left home in 3 weeks besides when I need to go to the store, the I look forward to the extra vlogging material so thank you for the entertainment!

It's weight that brings out the curl in your hair (you would think it would be the opposite....) That's what salt mist was for, back when people used it: to get that beach hair, heavy and textured. You should see more wave just from leaving that extra day between washings, if you can stand it, because, scalp oil. Could be tmi....

TIPS with elongating need to wash your hair: if your aim is 3 days between washes, try go for 4 when you’re ‘training it’ (lol this is a whole mission) then when you go to 3 after a couple of weeks of doing 4 days in between it’ll be funky fresh. AND if your hair is feeling horrible use dry shampoo overnight and/or before you body shower - hope these help! xx
@laurenmackay48424 жыл бұрын
im so excited for your curly hair journey! it elevates your look so much! I have curly hair and what helps is using a cotton t-shirt or a micro fibre cloth to dry it. using a regular towel creates frizz! use silicone and sulphate free hair products!

To make your banana bread cooks on the INSIDE you need to put a thin cake tester in the middle of the uncooked batter..yes it will lay to one side or another, no big deal, but it will work by heating the metal cake tester up and cooking the inside as well..it really works! ♡

let ur curls come out!! I recommend after u wash ur hair, flip it upside down (yes, while its wet when ur in the shower) to condition it and comb out any tangles, then when its detangled scrunch it up, dry it with a microfiber towel (still upside-down!) add curl cream/some sort of styler, and then diffuse upside down or let it air dry!

My grandmas oven had the same problem with burning things. Try putting a thermometer inside the oven (they make some especially for that purpose). Turns out her oven would get way hotter than it was actually set to. So now we set it lower and just go by the thermometer. Problem solved!

The more you encourage the waves, the more wavy it will be. It’s called “hair training” and it helps your hair learn how to form properly after having been brushed out or ironed for a long time

I just made sweet potato pie... After years of wanting it I've found out that I'm not really a fan although my husband liked it. The crust, I made beautifully, a crust Mary Berry would be proud of. Also because of lockdown I can't go and flog it off to my family so my hubby and I have to find inventive ways of eating it... I've got 3/4 of a pie left. Today with custard, tomorrow ice cream. Wish me luck! I so want to eat that banana bread😋

something that helps with washing your hair 3 days apart is just using a tiny bit of conditioner, and not putting it in your roots just the pony tail part! and then shampoo like once every 1.5 weeks or when you feel you need it!

Bake the banana bread in a cake tin so it's thinner and more easily baked through. Or double the tin, like bake it in two tins stacked together so there's more air and metal to buffer the cake from burning. Or bake it in a water bath. Or reduce the oven temperature and bake longer. Best of luck.
