He didn't say it here, but my favorite quote from Jesse is "Equal opportunity for everyone, and special treatment for No One."

I love his commitment to craftsmanship. His appreciation for who came before him. He won't call himself an artist but I'll do it for him.

I like the respect he has for his elders that manned the machines back in the day. For whatever douchy things he's done and is doing, he at least gets props for that.

I learned lots from Jesse. Not by working side by side as I haven't met him yet. It's more of a perspective or an approach. I'm not as talented but I do have many skills and I keep pushing. Thanks Jesse, I'll never give up!
@chesterpuffington83689 жыл бұрын
I Yeah I have to admit Jesse says a lot of stuff I have thought about myself. He like many many of us Americans have such a deep and profound respect for the other hero's who made America great. To dedicate your life to a craft and a style from yesteryear is admirable. The more I really listen the more I respect the real craftsman that made America great. God bless you guys for this series, peace brothers!

While Jesse seems tired and almost non-intellectual... seemingly nervous or having trouble using the right words, there is absolutely no doubt, and no room for anyone to doubt that he is one of the finest and most talented craftsman of our era. I feel like he is a simple man whose talents took him places he never imagined, and several places he probably never wanted to be anyway. He absolutely defines the notion that if you are passionate, and work hard, we all possess the ability to succeed at our goals and dreams.

That's a great point he made....what an odd fuckin world we live in where the last thing people want is to be stuck in a factory job cutting sheet metal or welding or setting rivets so they watch TV to escape that life, fantasizing about being somebody else...and the person many end up wanting to be like is a dude that is cutting sheet metal and welding. its a bit odd if you really think about it but at the same time, it makes perfect sense. those kinds of skills arent valued like they were so its cool to see somebody who able to do them still and make modern art from it.

i like where his head is at on the subject of what's a ero who you should respect or look too for example of hardworking sacrificial type world war two welder.. it's good to hear his thoughts on that topic. it's a time when many came together to do a common cause for the entire world not just America. but sure Pearl harbor had alot to do with it also.. and the American resolve was under estimated by our enemy...
