My family came to America during the Vietnam War in the mid-70s. Back then, we lived in the poor neighborhoods known as the ghetto or projects, alongside many Black families. Over the years, we've mostly moved out of those areas. We've done this by focusing on education and working hard, rather than blaming others for our circumstances. Despite facing discrimination from various groups, including some Black individuals, we've stayed committed to our goals. We've prioritized education and entrepreneurship, which has helped us succeed. Now, after many decades, we've moved into the suburbs, bought homes, and started our own businesses. Our strength comes from our strong family values and work ethic, which have kept us focused on our goals. Meanwhile, many Black families still live in those same neighborhoods. It's a reminder that excuses won't get you far when others, like us who barely knew English when we arrived, have surpassed in less time. This isn't about hate; it's truth and it's just my family's story.

Excuses are bs
@totesmagotes3688Ай бұрын
@@anthonythomas6593 There are excuses, and there are reasons for things being the way they are. Many times when a group adheres to a social norm, by default the group will openly pressure its members to adhere to these norms for the sake of stability, or normality. When you are raised in an environment where nearly everyone universally believes life is harder for them, that another group hates them and are out to get them, that you’re discriminated against at all the jobs you work, etc., others have difficulty achieving success, it is a lot harder to get out of that mindset when that has been your world your whole life. This isn’t isolated to BP, this tends to happen to people who live in poor areas with little economic opportunity. This is why it is so important for kids to have a mother and father growing up. Mothers ingrain love and compassion, fathers teach responsibility, hard work, discipline, respect. I think it’s more complicated than just saying people are lazy. The destruction of the family unit in the black community was caused by the US government by incentivizing black women to have kids and to stay unmarried in order to get government benefits. 75% of black people grow up without a father and it is heartbreaking. This trend is also increasing in the white community.

I have never envisioned Jesus as white. Where did he come up with that? I have never seen white Jesus and I am a 50 year old white man. I do have to say Jesse is right again, this man does not belong in a party of anger. He is very intelligent and could help bring all people together. Trust in the Lord my brother

I’m Irish, we’ve Been through for more than the African Americans have yet you don’t see us complain or whine. We were brutalised for 900 years but now we have the 3rd highest standard of living on Earth because we EARNED it. I want my black human brothers to know, the world owes no one nothing. Go out and earn it, stop pointing the finger for your own failures.

Irish hasn't been through a 10th of what black people have endured here in america.You're putting all the blacks in america into your personal bowl,like a racist does. There're so many black citizens earning their keep,not pointing fingers either,you're going by propaganda of the black community and never been to a single blk community to find out about black people. Jesse is doing the same thing you are_GENERALIZING-all black people,he hates himself and other blacks who don't feel and think like him. He's a house ninja.

You’re a smart man, but to focus on Jesus’s skin color is to focus more on the aspect of his worldly factors, when in fact, almost always the color of bright snow illuminate white has been described as angelic DNA and or angels, so when Jesus shines and glows it is referring to his holy DNA.
