I saw some Jesse in Juice during the last season of Sons of Anarchy. But, unlike Jesse, Juice couldn't escape from the toxic world he became a part of. He died, refusing to let go of it because he felt he couldn't define himself without it. Jesse didn't feel the same way. He wanted a different definition of himself free of Walter White and crystal meth. He saw how much both have ruined his life and took action to rectify it. Because he did, Jesse was eventually free of the destructive forces while Juice was left fatally trapped due to his own inaction."

I think that the writers of SOA wanted to give Juice a bigger role in the series, I think the story they gave him was amazing but I would've preferred to see him become a leader like Chibs and Jax did. He should've had the Sgt patch imo. He was such an amazing character, Theo Rossi did an amazing job and will go down as one of the best actors of all time.
