Oilers fan here. Super happy that he's getting this opportunity. I hope he finds a lot of success with the Pens! Wish it could've worked in Edmonton, but I'll always be cheering for this guy. I love the Bison King!

Opportunity… Pens are washed, and the Oilers are on fire, and can win the Cup. I wouldn’t be stoked if I were the guy.

The NHL has been spoiled in that most non-English speakers outside of Russia have had a good grasp of English. These reporters need to understand that better and make questions easier. You can't assume non-English speakers understand everything you say. Jesse did the right thing asking reporters to repeat questions.

@BobsUruncle-dl7cs Watched his interviews while he was on the Oilers. He improved his English after the first year or two. He's at about the same language skill level as he was during his last year in Edm. He can be a solid 3RW in the right circumstances. Didn't mean wish him luck sarcastically. I do wish him well. No need to be so hostile.

is anyone asking why young players are constantly having surgery at the start of their career? how many kids DONT make the pros and have these injuries trying to get there? ruin their health

For real guys in the north america. Learn to spell even one Finnish name right in 60 years before you say anything about a guy learning a whole language! Gotta problem with learning, remember we focking invented the ice skates. The way you spell the names of Finns, those are not names or words or anything. It's Alien language.
