Jesse is a cool dude. Took him to my place and he met my kids, went for some subway, went back to his show and had a great time as we always did. I used to play drums for the opening band every time they came to The Grand and Karnes City. Always greeting me with a hug. Had great memories with JT and the guys. He would sign autographs and take pics , even when health issues like asthma get in the way. Idk how anyone can deal with people especially after a show when that happens. I couldn’t.

Tejano to me is like La Sombra, Ram Herrera, David Lee Garza, Gary Hobbs, Mazz, David Marez, Culturas, La Fiebre, and etc. Duelo Siggno Intocable in my opinion isnt fuckin tejano. I like the groups and everything but they are not like real tejano, more like Norteno, i know they are formed in Texas but the music style is Norteno pretty much and didnt Siggno get nominated for a Grammy in the Norteno category?

I debate it was Ricky Munoz, I too met him four years ago when he came to play at a little bar with his group in Bossier before it closed…. Maybe I’m just a little biased but who knows, there could be another side that I don’t know. He was very nice when we took the picture, though I do realize he was a little quick, much quicker than Jesse when it comes to that type of stuff. I did get a shout out though… and maybe Ricky and all of them were quick because they had to go? I don’t know, but I highly doubt it was Ricky Munoz.
