I'm a conservative living in Massachusetts, and I voted to legalize Marijuana. It is now legal is Massachusetts, which makes me proud and the surrounding states envious. As irritating as potheads are, it should be legalized so that the crime surrounding it lessens and the benefits surrounding it can be used. In my opinion if you want to ban pot, you have to ban cigarettes, alcohol, and corn syrup.

I live in Mexico too and yes, we have very strict gun control and the number of deaths by fire arm are higher than in America, but that doesn't mean we should legalize the use of it. The reason why gun deaths are so high is because of the war between cartels whose guns are sold by the US. In a sense, America's ridiculous 2nd amendment found it's way to hurt Mexico as well as the U.S.

As a Canadian who does not use marijuana or substances of any kind, it was interesting to me to note that the day before marijuana was legalized in Canada the American Government was screaming along with Corporate America about what a huge mistake was being made and how they wanted sanctions imposed to get it stopped. On the day after legalization, Corporate America started screaming to Washington that they were losing out on a huge opportunity and they didn't want those Canadian Companies to get the jump on them in the world market and how could it be legalized quickly in the U.S. all the while negotiating with and buying as many stocks as they could in the Canadian marijuana companies........... Certainly give credence to Mr. Ventura's opinions doesn't it.

It was a pleasure to watch this interview. Both participants were clear about their positions and opinions and were able to articulate their respective points very well. One very important reasons for this is that both were respectful to the other and allowed him to make his point without ‘talking over’ him or otherwise interrupting. This interview should be mandatory watching for other interviewers and political commentators so they may see how professionals are supposed to conduct themselves.
