Oh my gosh, this is the song I was looping today (orig version)! Am I the only one who doesn't just listen to a CD but listens to one song that moves you in a certain way over and over and over again? No other music in the world does this to me. And each stirs the soul in a unique way. It can create a mood but it also must first sync with the rhythm in which the soul, for that moment, has decided to rest. This is contemplative.

Since I first discovered the music of Jesse Cook, it has remained the soundtrack to my life. I have all of the albums, and have listened to all of the songs hundreds of times. They never get old or boring and always soothe my soul. Into the Dark specifically takes me back to 2003, right before I graduated from high school, which my friends and I listened to while driving in our first cars as teenagers. I saw Jesse Cook in Edmonton in autumn 2023 with my mother, and I was amazed that he's even better in person. He also has a really nice voice, and I love the song "Fall at Your Feet". Thank you Mr. Cook for everything. Please never stop making music. From a loyal fan and his mother :)

A friend gave me a cassette of two guitar lps. Side one was Joe Satriani and side 2 was Jesse cook. I had never heard of him. I recently found the cassette and played the J cook side and really loved it. I have a hard time with finger-picking but watching videos like these encourages me. I think a nylon string guitar is better for this kind of music which I really love and play it to relax at home. Thank you Mr. Cook. This is very beautiful and warm and soothing. Please don't stop.
