I mean, ignoring the controversy, it kinda seems like Jirard was what held them back from recording more of these. He was always super busy with how many projects we was constantly involved in. Now that he's gone, we'll probably see a lot more SGS.

@@nickmontoya1 one of the things Jesse said was how hard it was to do SGS with 4 people of varying schedules and how he wanted to start doing them with "Whoever" was available, rather than trying to wrangle all 4 of them together. So I doubt he's gone forever, just Jesse taking a more relaxed approach to the format.

@@Barkinmadkay Unfortunately, it's come to light that he's engaged in some shady practices with a lot of money that was fundraised years ago. Basically, he held onto it instead of actually donating it while giving excuses as to why it wasn't. -Then it came out that he did use some of it for other things unrelated to the charity.- It's very unfortunate for fans of his and SGS, and I don't think he'll be back on anytime soon. But (and I suppose this is still a bit tasteless, but hey, silver linings) at least he's not like, a sexual assaulter or pedophile or something. I don't think he's an awful bad person. I think it's a mistake that could happen to many people, but it's still a mistake that I think warrants him not being in SGS anymore. At least for now. Edit: I remember seeing multiple references stating that he had admitted to using some of that money to help fund his Indieland convention. I've retracted that sentence while keeping it in place to keep contextual continuity. I don't know for certain where that came from so I will not make the accusation any harder than state that I've heard it.

Love that Alex mentions my favourite book. Do yourself a favor, find a friend with a copy of House of Leaves, and tell them that someday you're just gonna borrow it, then a month or two later just take it without mentioning it. Trust me, taking the book and reading it without permission adds an extra layer to the "this is not for you" horror elements.

Always a joy to see more SGS. Was not expecting this to be an Aerosmith tribute video. I think Jesse needs to rewatch Die Hard 2 though. The planes being able to land was not the issue. The flight instruments were messed with, so the altitude meter showed they were higher than they actually were. Any diversion to a nearby airport would've resulted in the same outcome, the plane smashing into the ground and the bad guys had the forethought to turn the runway lights off, so the pilots couldn't land using their eyes (hence why John McClane ended up setting the runway on fire, to show where the ground was.)

I'm really loving that you guys are trying more small one-shot games. Even when they're hit-and-miss I just like seeing the variety of what horror game devs are putting out, and the energy of you guys always makes it entertaining. I'd like to make a game suggestion of Zelle: An Occult Adventure. It's been out for a long time so maybe you guys have individually played it, but, if not, I think y'all could have an absolute blast with this bizarre gem of a game. It's pretty light on the scares, but the developer is currently working on a spiritual sequel that seems more horror-oriented

I know that people say that overtime, the limited polygons of the PS1 era hasn't age gracefully, but somehow the lack of features especially in the faces of npcs really does give the game an very uncanny feeling. That's what I found so amazing about Chilla's Art and Puppet Combo games, even if the games are made today, the PS1 graphics really does give off the scary old school vibes.
