Did you know that Frank Sinatra was the vocalist for the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra before he went on his own solo career, In addition he was born here in my area being Hoboken NJ

I dunno if this is the actual thing , but it reminds me of those 1980s big band medleys with the drum machine. They’d come on randomly on radio stations when I was little, the easy listening stations. I think they would be played during holidays like New Year’s or July Fourth.

Thank you for posting this. I had every Meco LP (Well - Wizard of Oz on 8-track!) - even the rare ones. Unfortunately, I got rid of all my LP's when I moved a few years ago.

I've got some of Meco's one-offs as well. Some of his more obscure tracks were the "Shogun Theme", "Raiders March" & "Anything Goes". He really should've had more hits.
