That is just insanely fast. That beginning - the GoPro effect makes you think: why isn't he going a bit faster? But hearing the skidding, you can tell it's just so insanely steep that it's a super careful balancing act between not completely skidding out and picking up too much speed you can't get any braking done anymore. Then some hike a bike, and more super steep stuff, which I can't believe you rode that fast. And it's just all pure singletrack, no real line choice, or "I'll go a little wider to bleed off speed for a turn" - it's do or die! And it just... ...goes... ...on. Well done Jesse. Not sure where you finished, but well done. I look at the hundreds of turns you did at mach speed on this run, and it makes it all the more unbelievable that you crashed in the Enduro last week.

I've never seen a POV of this course, thanks for posting. Also didn't realize how long it is. My forearms woulda been blown out within the first mile, as steep as it looks. Didn't see the 'lap' comparison to Hills time, I'll have to look that up. Hella fast run, all on a single crown - must be the 38 up front, pulling damping duty!

Sam's time was back in the day was 12:49. Crazy how much bikes have evolved since then 😮 However the course may have. Changed a little since then and the shortcut Jesse took maybe wasn't available then so Sam's time is still pretty close 👍
