This song was written for a dance crew survival show. One crew choreographed it. YGX(the girls at the very beginning. The one with the lip ring is the leader AND the youngest). She originally didn't want to be in the video so they could highlight the dancers but they all wanted her in it

Jessi was born in NY, raised in Jersey and immigrated to Korea at 15. She’s been in the Korean music industry for a long time. She was in a couple of hiphop groups at the beginning of her career and later became a soloist but she was having problems with her label. Her contract ended with that label and Psy signed her on as his first artist under his label PNation. And she has been thriving & blooming as an artist ever since. She gained popularity through a Korean hip hop show called Unpretty Rapstar, as you can tell by her strong presence, her personality is just as strong and she butt heads with a lot of other female rappers in the show, sometimes she was picked on for being a gyopo but that’s what made her stand out. She wasn’t always the most liked artist, bc people were intimidated by her but she slowly became one of the most influential female artists in the k industry/internationally breaking beauty standards & embracing being a strong independent woman.
