Hunting elk is awesome. Hunting elk with your dad (who happens to be Corey Jacobsen) is even better. Harvesting a crazy bull is icing on the cake. BUT... getting a personal congratulations from Randy "The Grousefather" Newberg? That's next level 👏👏👏

Sorry for your loss. I lost my father a few years back and there isn't an opening morning that I don't think about the first deer season with him. We have to cherish every day we can spend with family. My son was with me when I got my first and only bull so far.

Amazing hunt! What a great father-daughter bond! Very cool looking bull. My 10 year old daughter has been in the woods all her life and has the passion of a hunter/provider already. She has her muddy girl camo bow and is determined to fill my archery deer tag while we are on the hunt for the elusive bull elk this year. Got to appreciate the Mentored Youth Program. THis episode really got her fired up. Thank you all for the way you approach and share in a way the whole family can enjoy!

At 14:40, that bull was like, "Man, who put this fence here, I can't get to the party now!" Great shot Jessi and for keeping the streak going. 4 arrows, 3 bullets, 7 elk down. Thanks for the videos Elk 101 team!

The second best thing about Jessi’s elk is the cool character of the antlers, if that’s what we can call them lol. The best? The memories made pursuing the bull! Love to see dads and daughters hunt together. Still taking my girls when I can. Thanks for sharing Corey.

That brought back great memories of hunting with my little girl, I was lucky enough to be with her on her first elk and her second one. They were both with a muzzleloader, she was 12 or 13, on the first one, she is 23 now. We are still lucky enough to hunt together every year. She also uses a 6.5 Creedmoor now.. That was a very cool elk, Congrats Jessi!
