Almost 10 years ago I was in a 2 year relationship with a narcissist and an abuser. Someone who degraded everything I was and wanted to be. This song truly is what he was. exactly how i felt dealing with narcissistic shit that i didn’t realize after all the chances i gave him. it ruined me physically and mentally bcuz i kept trying when he wouldn’t even when he said he would change. even if they’re your first everything always choose yourself. i learned the hard way. after 3 years im now picking me.

I’m so glad this song is out!!!! I feel this exact same way and this is what most people need to hear because some live this situation day in and out and even when their person isn’t ignoring them on purpose that’s how some feel. Sometimes we can’t help that’s how we feel some of us have been traumatized and let down our whole lives not knowing when someone is treating us right. So this song is amazing!!!
