Im 36 now but grew up not being cared about by my mum and step-father and I can tell you 14 year old me would have given anything to have an Aunt and Uncle like you both, if I had had that I might not have gone through some of the traumatic things that I did so young. I understand there is only so much you can do but it means more than you know. For her to just know you guys are there for her is so incredibly important. Thank you for being the loving people that you are, we need more people out there like you ❤️

This one really got me. I was recently broken up with after a 4 year relationship and recent engagement after my partner left for another man. This song makes me think about the time I spent really looking back and understanding that the relationship was always one sided, and I remained in it because I craved the validation of my partner despite knowing I was not ever going to get it, and that I was nothing more than a means of provision to them.
