But Matt isn’t reckless. He doesn’t think he’s invincible. He’s not magic or just incredibly cynical. Every time he puts on that mask, he knows he has a family to protect. He hides his identity, above all else. He’s just a blind man, what danger could he be? He tells Foggy and Karen to stay out of it. No one can use them against him, he’s too smart for that. They have brought Murdoch and Kingpin into the MCU, but both were milk toast and dumbed down to make the characters in those shows look better by comparison.
