Grew up in Homer but moved away. Go back during the summers, but love watching you vids when I'm homesick.

This video is beautiful, love the footage in the village and the views after departing. Cool to see Jessica involved in the avionics upgrade on 23U years later.

Beautiful part of the world. I've flown into the Adirondacks, The Catskills, Green and White mountains of VT and NH. I relate to everything you do in Alaska.

I love the Adirondacks beautiful area of Upstate New York. I always personally refer to the Adirondack Mountains as little Alaska. I was in Alaska about four years ago and loved it, but living in Pennsylvania it's not that easy to get there.

Such a beautiful video I have to say all that scenery was nothing short of captivation. I know I won't ever make it to that place in my lifetime cuz I live thousands and thousands of miles away from that place. Thanks for showing us such beautiful part of our planet.

Loved it. Next time we come to Homer we definitely want to go to Soldovia if the weather permits. See you next year. Jim and Renata.

I appreciate the rustic and destination-based character of your videos; sharing what flying is all about. Mistook Jason Miller for you at the NW trade show back in February, and he said that happens all the time. What a great epoch of GA on KZbin. Thank you so much for your contribution to the flying community.

Don Yarbrough Thanks for the wonderful accolades. To even be in the same sentence as Jason is an honor.

Chris, thanks for your great vids with unbelievably beautiful scenery. One request: please show us more details of the Alaskan towns/villages you visit, like actually walking into the shops and restaurants. Show us their wares. Make us “hungry” for Alaska. We’d like to get the “full meal deal” of Alaska.

Beautiful intro and video man. I love that 207 in the beginning...such a goofy looking plane haha. I gotta make it out to Alaska. Seldovia seems like the Ceder Key KCDK of Alaska.

Great stuff as usual Chris minus the need for a prop filter for the outside camera. At the end It was a good hot minute you kept on the footage from that cam!

Just joined your page ...came over from Josh Flowers w/ Aviation 101. Curious in this video lots of crackling and crunching noises almost sounded like hail on a tin roof......what up with that? Looking forward to binge watching your channel!

Assuming you had a ferry-fuel tank for extra range, could you fly a Skyhawk into Barrow or Prudhoe Bay? Would high winds or turbulence be a factor?

Chris how old is your Cessna 172 ? Is it your first airplane ? Seldovia sort of reminds me of Ketchican , Alaska sort of . Is Jessica your wife Chris ?
@angleofattack5 жыл бұрын
It's a 1963 D model. First flight school airplane yes. Jessica is a friend, not my wife. You can see my wife in some of my other episodes of the Angle of Attack Show. Notably the Seldovia and $100 Hamburger episodes.
