How did you find Sydney compared to Melbourne btw? I'm moving over later this year but can't decide on which city to choose!

Hi Graham, if you like the beach, then Sydney is the pick. Sydney has more of an American city feel to it. If you like culture and sophistication, then it is Melbourne. Melbourne has a more European feel to it. Lots of little alleyways with cafes and outdoor seating. Of course, this is a very general stereotype.

(me included) something similar has happened to me where someone has shouted at me and I burst into tears too! I’m from Sydney. That’s a classic fire alarm - they are super sensitive and can be triggered by too much smoke from ovens, cooking etc. It’s likely that it was a false alarm, the alarm will be on until the fire fighters attend and clear it as safe
