The calamansi flavor isn't in the oil. That's sesame oil. The calamansi flavor is in the powder.

I was also frustrated with how messy the sauce packet of pancit canton, one good way to solve it is by putting it in the freezer before you boil the water, although the soy sauce won't freeze that quick due to the high salt content, but at least its manageable unlike the oil.

I like pancit canton alone so this is very wholesome that you shared 1 pack all 3 of you hahaha. Thats generosity to the highest level. The oil is just oil. The flavour is in the powder. Unless it's chilly flavoured one, the oil is different because chili oil is a staple of philippine dish. We put it in toyo with siomai or with patis in tinola, its like an addition flavour 👍 This video shows much of love to philippines. Im glad that you and your sisters share this. More of this
