You know, it's strange. I think I would have found you guys about 2 years sooner (around the time of Breathin' and God is a Woman) than I actually did had I not chosen to live inside a drunken fugue for a decade. I had a phase where I pretty much exclusively listened to Ariana Grande metal covers, I'm honestly not sure how I didn't find you outside of blind drunkenness. - Feeling a bit cathartic, if not wistful, as my 2 years sober date is coming up in a week and a half and I heavily associate my finding Halocene with my sobriety - as they happened within the same 3 month period. Dec 2019 finding the KZbin channel through a combo of This is Our War, Simmer/Decode and Sex E Bro to Feb 17th 2020, when I actually followed on Twitch, the last day that I drank was Feb 14th 2020. I knew I had a problem with alcohol after about 1 year of drinking, it took me another 6 years to accept I had a problem, it took me another 3 to actually do anything about it. But more to the point, it's a great cover and I'm honored to be associated with the journey ahead.
