I am really confused.I read the first book and watched the movie.I started reading City of Ashes and I came to the part where Simon tells Clary that he burned his fingers on the sung and that is lucky that vampires heel fast.If it isin't to mush trouble can someone explain to me who is Sebastian and what happened between Clary and Jace.And also will Magnus and Alec end up together??I hope somebody explains this to me. Magnus and Alec will end up together! However, at the end of City of Lost Souls, they break up :( Sebastian is actually Valentine and Jocelyn's son; read on and you will find out more. Shan't give you anymore spoilers about Clary and Jace, just that they are not real siblings

Hmm later in the series there will be this vampire called Camille. Alec knows that Magnus is immortal but he isn't and one day he won't be able to be with Magnus anymore, and Camille says that she has a way for Alec to be with Magnus - To take away Magnus's immortality. So at the beginning Alec wants to know how to do it so he looks up Camille; but later he changes his mind and decides to turn down her offer. But then Magnus catches him and is hurt by what Alec had wanted to do. This was why they broke up :(
