I’m new to Jessie’s music and all I can say is “where have I been??????” She shows such a real and raw side of herself in her music. I feel a lot of artists that I follow also open up in their music but Jessie is the only one that I have genuinely felt connected to. Jessie shows such a raw human side to herself in her music and I feel as if being genuine/weird/showing your flaws around people in this day and age is seen as weird so I appreciate her music a lot. She is so brave. Thank you Jessie for making me feel a little less alone in the world. I hope someday I can connect to people just the way you connected with me. 💕🌙

I love how, at the end of the video, they both briefly acknowledge each other, as though recognizing the other as a necessary surrogate for a time, and then look away toward distances that may or may not contain the apparitions of their respective exes.

I love Jessie Reyez because to me she sounds like me when I talk to myself when I look in the mirror. You can put her on the worst beat and she'll still give you her heart and soul
