Love it. Simple, clean, light, yet elegant and homey. I like how some pieces are from cheap shops too. This is how a home should be. You wouldn’t want to put all your money on it as there are far more important things to spend on such as savings, traveling (experiences), your child’s future expenses, and of course retirement.

I actually watched this video, went away but had to come back for a couple of reasons. Firstly Jessi, you are not being a brat because you dislike something in your home. You and your husband purchased this home with your own hard earned income. You have a right to make it the place you envision. You are SHARING with your viewers, and if your truth is that you hate the tiles in your bathrooms, and you feel comfortable enough to express that to us, it doesn’t give us the right to judge you as being a spoiled brat. I read those comments on your original home tour video you shared with us, and it bothered me then that people would be so presumptions to tell you what you should and should not feel about your own home. It bothers me even more now to hear you echo the things about yourself they labeled you as. Keep being authentically you. There are more of us who love and appreciate you and your content, then those who are haters. The second point that made me come back, is the comment in this video about how you speak. You do right to ignore these comments but I want to ask - how is she “supposed” to talk? What exactly is the right way? Who are we to say how someone should speak? The fact is she’s very articulate. She enunciates each word carefully. No one can dictate to others what to like, but if you dislike her, her voice, whatever - why do you watch? It’s disturbing how people feel that they have the right to say things behind the cover of their screens, that they would never walk up to someone and say. It’s basic manners that even children are aware of - if you don’t have something nice to say, don’t say anything at all. The fact that these ugly comments get so many likes is sad. These are cowards who anonymously hide behind someone else’s messiness. You feel comfortable to throw your mean, unsolicited words around, so you should be able to handle my opinion: I detect bullying & jealousy. So much toxicity and negative vibes. I suggest those of you to whom this applies, look inside yourselves to find out why you feel the need to insult perfect strangers. You must be lacking in your own lives. To each of you, I wish you the best in your search to find self satisfaction. When you find it, you won’t find it necessary to berate others. Keep the videos coming Jessi, and keep being you. We love seeing what’s up with you and your beautiful family.

It's a mix of Malay, Mandarin, Hokkien and Tamil - I speak like this with the locals here but, sometimes, I speak proper English too. Then, they look at me. 😂😜

I don’t know if this suits your aesthetic, but you could keep the cabinets white but paint the island navy or charcoal. I love the black hardware, but brass would look great if you go darker in your cabinet color. Beautiful home. Very peaceful vibe. Adorable family.

I say black mat with brass hardware on the bottom cabinets and leave the top cabinets white w/brass hardware. The black will pull out all of that beautiful black veining in the marble!! Your house and your family are lovely! I really like your outfit as well. Thanks for sharing ♥

Since you really hate your bathroom tile...you could paint it with tile paint. White, light gray or a herringbone pattern like your guest bathroom. That would be a nice temporary fix until you replace it.

A pretty gray would be a great color for the cabinets. Although white is clean, classic & doesn’t make the room dark!

Perhaps you can try a "tuxedo kitchen" look with your cabinets by painting the base cabinets a darker color (black, grey, or navy). Or you can add backplates to your cabinet hardware. My base cabinets are navy and I chose matte black handles with brass backplates for a pop of color.

It's been a while, so I'm not certain whether you've painted your cabinets/kitchen yet or not, but I highly suggest Behr's paint color Hematite. Your house is light enough to paint a darker color, and Hematite is a beautiful selection. Check it out!

Did anyone else spend this entire video panicking at the silence and no sign of their toddler? As an experienced Mummy to two, I know silence is very dangerous 🧚🏻‍♀️ - I am happy when I hear toddler noise and the minute that there is silence, I check on them right away! I have found toddlers covered in flour or sudacreme (nappy rash cream), playing in the toilet, posting wax crayons down the back of our radiators (although in fairness I didn’t realise this until the heat melted the coloured crayons allover our carpets 🙈).
