In this D&D Fusion art game, we're taking Pokemon and Elden Ring creatures and throwing them together to see what horrific dungeons and dragons monsters we get! Feel free to offer suggestions below!
If you didn't watch the previous update, I am taking steps to try to upload more regularly and that's why we're working with 3 creatures instead of the usual 5. This video unfortunately got delayed because my mic was having some major issues and I had to re-record everything. ;u;

Yay! Another awesome crossover. I love the story and the descriptions for each monster! I think an ULTRAKILL + D&D crossover would be so cool.

The shovel-like tusks of the Skyplöthermia are really interesting to me. Just like how Mamoswine is a pig that convergently evolved to be very mammoth-like with its tusks, Skyplöthermia ended up with Platybelodon-like tusks. But instead of using them to strip bark from trees like the ancient elephant-relatives, it digs with them, sorta like paleontologists originally thought Platybelodon did.

Argh, I wish I could be a part of these kickstarters so I can get my hands on all the lovely books going around. Always happy to add new monster books to the collection. Speaking of monsters, looking forward to seeing more Elden Ring beasties mixed into these fusions: there are definitely a lot of potential combinations one can make from Elden Ring's roster. Keep working at it, in game: you'll be dying left right and center early on, but remember not to panic and get to know the movesets of your weapons and spells. Every resource goes a long way.

These ones are pretty dang cool, do like the idea of mixing it up and doing diffrent ways to randomly generate prompts, and getting some good streams out of it. I like it. Stygian is a personal favorite with it giving some Ring City vibes from it. Glad to see you back :)

Ah the dichotomy of cute and eldritch, I still love how Jess goes through the effort to give us lore on these creations, it really does make them feel alive instead of just a cool piece of art it's amazing, good on ya Jess! For a suggestion maybe Jak and Daxter, good verity of monsters and it's been a while since anyone gave that gem of a game some love!

D&D Fusions idea: "Digimon + (Early Era) Yu-Gi-Oh monsters". There should be some interesting combinations.

@@keith3278 banished doll of lightning spirits, there was an elemental plane of lightning at one point and Wizardmon came from the realm of lightning within Witchelny. You combine that with Dark Magician and his history and you got quite the vessel. Desert lightning always strikes on the true pharaoh's command.

Monster hunter with Pokemon. People say it's redundant but the different design philosophies makes it fascinating especially if you mix elder dragons or the more strange ones with pokemon.

Is Jess okay? It's been a year and they haven't seemed to be active on any social media. If he is talking a long break or just been busy then understandable, but hope that's just it and nothing bad or something happened. Love your monster mashups and tried using your little Fusion List myself. I ended up creating a cross between an Onix and a Succubus that I called the Marble Lover that was essentially a living statue that would bewitch unsuspecting adventurers and transform into a terrifying earth-elemental when enraged.

Happy to see you back and recovered with another great episode. The change in format is rather fun, and that Mamoswine Bat concept is a brilliant! As for suggestions on games you could use in the future, Hollow Knight, Slay the Spire, Deep Rock Galactic, Hades, and Risk of Rain 2 are some incredible indies with some equally awesome enemies, and ones that you’ll also probably die to very frequently.

Don’t get me wrong, I love this, but the way you selected the Elden Ring enemies is kinda disappointing, as it means you can only use early-game enemies. Hoping to see another video like this one when you get further into the game and see more of what it has to offer!

I really like this batch and no it isn't because Umbreon happens to be one of my favorite pokemon and the resulting fusion is an anti-litch fey. None of these are evil and make for interesting inclusions, puzzles, and world building. Now I would like a return to the dice ones but purely because I want to see all the potential combinations that results from those lists.

I think you should try expanding from using dnd/pokemon in your fusion, as often as you do. But honestly, you could churn out dozen of these videos using just D&D + Pokemon videos, and I'd more than likely watch them. But if you are up for some suggestions, I have a few here. Half-Life Enemies, Bloodborne Enemies, Warhammer Units, Deep Rock Galactic Fauna, Fallout Enemies,

I never really considered Sigilyph an object pokemon(even then the only object pokemon I hate is the vanillux line), and just thought of it as a... Weird, Alien THING.

I'd be interested in Digimon plus stuff, like Monster Hunter. Like, Nakarkos plus Machinedramon for a great waddling gaping cuttlefish bone mecha with huge dragony cannons, or Apocalymon plus Odogaron for what would be kind of like a beholder but instead, oops, it's a ball of muscle and many mutli-layered claws, or Barbamon plus Great Maccao for an old bearded bird wizard. Just my brain picking out things I thought would be cool.

Also, races. I want to see you create some new races/subraces. I don't think I've seen any races based around light (there's an assload of darkness-based ones); living spells; oozes; large- or tiny-sized; time-travelling; multi-dimensional. Go weird, like you do so well. Going this same route, you could do backgrounds, and equipment too. Got a game with a large or weird jobs list? Add a time period modifier, and a creature list for the weird culture its based around. Equipment could just be two random rolls from existing items lists, and make an entirely new item; delivery system; or transforming weapon a' la Bloodbourne.

Two suggestions: Digimon and D&D monsters, and trying one of these with BLOODBORNE! There are so many stylistically cool and strange monsters in that game (Bloodborne) that honestly fit right in with your kind of style of monster creation.

Absolutely baller monsters, if you want some suggestions some stuff I'd love to see is Digimon or Yo-Kai Watch, both could make for some cursed fusions with any other type of creature, maybe from a roguelike like Binding of Isaac? Or Terraria? Regarding of the fusions or even type of content I know you are gonna have some really cool videos coming up.

Honestly fusing Pokémon and Souls enemies seems perfectly on brand for Jess. You have this things for making thinks either tooth-erodingly sweet, or unholy levels of eldritch horror. I would even like to see you branch the randomizer out to further souls games, I can only sit in fear of the abominations you would create with Bloodborne's cast of "dear god, what cursed crime against nature is that ?".

This is a great experiment. Crossing over two different games to create DnD monsters? Nice way to stay fresh! What about next time you cross over Monsters from the Dragon Age Franchise with Robo Dinos from the Horizon games? We need more dinos to play with!
