Confused? LONG STORY SHORT:
My name is Jess! I had a daughter (Lilia) at age 18 w/ my high school sweetheart. We mutually split up & co-parent to this day. I met someone new, got married at age 19, had twin boys (Kyson & Kaden) and another son (Landen). He cheated, we split ways, & he’s not around much. After juggling life as a single mom of 4 for some time, I met Chris, he had 2 sons: Caden and Tommy, who eventually became my step sons. After Chris and I got married, we had our 7th child together, Addelyn. We’re one big, complicated, blended family & every second of our story is on KZbin, you can start from the beginning here: • 8 Weeks Pregnant!
FAQ: Yes, we’re done having kids.
FAQ: Names and ages of the kids: Caden (step son, born in 2009), Lilia (daughter, born in 2010), Tommy (step son, born in 2010), Kyson (son, born in 2012), Kaden (son, born in 2012), Landen (son, born in 2014), Addelyn (daughter, born in 2016)
FAQ: Who are the dads? Gabe (Lilia’s dad), Drake (Kyson, Kaden, and Landen bio dad), Chris (Caden, Tommy, Addelyn’s dad)

I also have a high pain tolerance and have three herniated disks. They flare up on the occasions and it is so bad you can’t move. You will learn new limitations with this, and soon find if you move certain ways you will suddenly stop yourself as you will feel the twinge and be like oh no that’s going to go out if move anywhere. Good luck praying for a speedy recovery.

I had the same thing with my back a couple years ago! Have them put you on a steroid burst to start to get the inflammation out, and then get scheduled to have a steroid injection with fluoroscopy before you start therapy. It’s a game changer and you’ll be able to do more during the therapy to prevent it from flaring up again. Both as a nurse and from experience, steroids will help!! Feel better!!

@@kimkardashianruinedmylife it’s definitely not the moral choice. There are millions of homeless dogs out there and by buying a dog, you are essentially killing a rescue dog. Plus, if she promotes adoption, she could help save hundreds of dogs because of her platform 😊 plus I’ve found rescue dogs have more of a personality and less health issues because generally (I’m making a general statement and ofc there are a few reputable breeders) they are inbred. Plus, if you can rescue a dog, why not?

At 17 I had 2 surgeries to repair 2 herniated discs. It put me behind in school, which was stressful as a high school senior fighting to get into my dream college, yet it was the best thing I've ever done! Take care of yourself, if your cup isn't full you can't fill up your kids. You love them so much, they love you too, and they want to see you happy and healthy! ❤️

I'm 26 and am suffering from early disc degeneration that is causing sciatic pain down my leg. It has gotten so bad that my left foot has been completely numb for 6 weeks. I am on heavy meds, especially muscle relaxants as the muscle spasms I was having were the worst pain I've ever been in. I have a minimum of 3 months physiotherapy ahead of me. I feel your pain and hope you recover quicker than I am!

SAME. At 24, I was dx w spinal stenosis. I did chiro, pt, aqua therapy, epidural injections. Nothing helped. I was staying home from work. I was on 30mg of oxy/day plus multiple muscle relaxers. A month after I turned 25, I had my spine fused. It fixed the sciatica in my left, and fixed the central pain; but I knew immediately it caused an issue with my right side. From November 2021-February 2023, I had nerve blocks (to test if I qualify for radio frequency ablations - nerve burning)… I had 16 in that time frame. In April, I asked if I could get a spinal cord stimulator and go back on pain meds until I got it. I was on 30mg of morphine/day. I finally got my spinal cord stimulator trial 9 days after I turned 27, and I got 100% relief with very minor breakthrough pain, which was fixed by changing the settings on the SCS. 11 days ago I got my permanent SCS implant. No normal pain, just pain around the incision and where they did the laminectomy to insert the electrode wire. For now I’m on dilaudid and morphine to help with operative pain (I’ve been consistently on opioids in 2016 due to having 10 surgeries), and also using a topical CBD/thc blend around my back as well to help

It is a good thing you went to the doctor as soon as you could. My mom has had herniated disks for years now and put off seeing the doctor about her initial pain for over a year and now she is in permanent pain from it. Like can’t even lift her arm up 6 inches. Even after 2 surgeries. Make sure you listen to your doctor and even loved ones about advice ❤

I went through exactly same thing thanks to trying to move a couch real fast. I know weight lifting is tricky. Too much added or doing movement too quickly can cause problems. Just reaching around to the backseat for your purse can make your back go out. It is so hard !!! Feel better.

Diamond Dazzle, timing is everything. Maybe you didn’t hear Jess just say, she has a herniated disc. Friend, Jess doesn’t need to push anymore. Maybe you don’t know this, but a herniated disc is a very serious injury. When high achievers like Jess, hears a comment like yours, she may push herself into an even worse situation. ~Compassion is a powerful quality (especially when people are in pain or hurting).

I hope you heal quickly!! I had a herniated bulging disc at the l5 s1 and i have degenerative disc disease. I lost feeling in my right leg and it was radiating to the left side. I went for a mri got the phone call an hour later i needed to go to a surgeon that day and needed surgery. The next morning i had surgery and when i woke up the dr told me my disc was crushed. i didnt have any feeling from the waist down. 3 and a half years later i still dont have any feeling. Please listen to your body and take it easy!!! If the pain gets worse go to the ER.

The bulging disc is likely making the muscles spasm and it's probably pressing on your sciatic nerve. If it's radiating to your hip and butt thats sciatica and even can radiate down your thigh. Reducing inflammation helps so alternating heat and ice and ibuprofen then muscle relaxers. When you do resume lifting make sure you stretch first. Stretch your hips, back, etc. Hope you feel relief soon! I've suffered from these issues for years and it's literally a pain in the ass.

I have suffered from a herniated/bulging disc in my lower back for YEARS not knowing that's what it was. I just thought it was what active people and people with highly-physaical jobs suffer with (I was a caregiver). But, I went to a chiropractor a few years ago, and he told me that's what I had. He did a specific adjustment to help relieve the pain. I was in tears because I had relief for the 1st time in YEARS. So, I would suggest a chiropractor to help with that. Pain meds and such only bandaid the problem instead of actually fix it. Trust me. Been there; done that. I hope you feel better soon.

Go to the chiropractor. I'm 35, single mom, in college full time, unload 18 wheelers at Walmart Distribution and was told I needed to have my spine fused because of these types of issues. Going to the chiropractor and doing a 20 minute yoga stretching video is what keeps me out of pain. A medical doctor is only going to fix that issue with meds and surgery. Hope you start to feel better soon.

I’ve had herniated discs. It is no joke and so painful. Please, Please, be careful. If you push too much you can rupture the discs. If you think this is bad… yikesville could be your future. This isn’t something that heals over night or in a few days. I can’t imagine having all your children and a herniated disc. It’s okay to “stop” in life and get off the roller coaster ride. It seems impossible, but you may need to stop. Others will step forward and help. We can’t be everything to everyone all the time. -Sometimes, things have to change in circumstances like this. This is BIG. -Hang in there, Jess. I’m thinking of you.💜🙏🏽💕

I feel your pain Jess, it’s horrible and I can guarantee you are not imagining the amount of pain you are in - I’m going on 9 months of unable to walk or sit or sleep with 2x herniated discs in my lumbar spine - multiple cortisone/epidural injections and physical therapy but they can’t operate until I lose more weight due to low visibility I have to work from home because I can’t physically walk around the office, I use a walker when I’m out and about as I need to sit frequently doing groceries etc - it’s ruined my social life because I can’t do anything without pain Decided to come up and spend the weekend at my parent’s property this weekend and I’ve not been able to do anything- if the pain continues past the 6-8 weeks see if you can get an epidural injection guided by CT - it helped me significantly, went from struggling to walk the 4 steps to the bathroom from my bed to being able to walk from one end of the house to the other without crying

for a dog breed, i would Seriously think about how much are you going to want to walk with it, play, train, and so on. Are you going to train them like crazy, go on hikes and so on, get an active breed. If you want a cuddle buddy, get lika a cavalier or cocker spaniel, you know a slower dog. so many people get a border collie, aussie or husky type of dog, and don't realize they are true working dogs, they easily get aggressive and weird if they don't work. If you get a golden instead, it will most likely, not always ofc, but it will love throwing tennis balls, bathing, going on walks, and cuddle.

Unless you recently have been lifting anything heavy, your herniated disk is most likely from weight lifting. If you don’t have proper posture you can definitely injure yourself. Just a tip though do not use the topical ointment and heat together because it can burn!! It happened to me 😅

Sorry about your sore back. I have a constant sore lower back and my doctor referred me for an xray that was a 4 month wait. I'm still waiting for results. They think it could be arthritis. I hope your back heals soon. I loved that you bought school supplies for others.

Girl, going to a chiropractor *with a drop table* has changed my LIFE. My doctor was ready to do injections and surgery, I was losing my mind with daily pain. Methocarbomal also helps and doesn't make me loopy so I can still do mom $hit. 😅

Jess I have three. You need to put heating pad on it. And get small pillows one for when driving to put between you and the seat for counter pressure on the disk and one for sitting in the house for same thing. Just be very careful. Twice mine had slipped out and could only crawl for three days each time because pain was so bad. Didn’t want anyone to touch me. Was pregnant one of those times. Be careful it’s horrible pain and don’t want yours to get that bad.

My husband, 21, got into a wreck and it made him have the disk thing and so much more. It's been almost a year, and he still has issues. He needs surgery and had to get injections but his insurance cut off and we can't afford them anymore. Best of luck jess

Don't worry, my dad had the exact same thing but the disk just exploded. You need to listen to what he doctors tell you to do and rest. You might need surgery but if you do it's nothing to worry about I promise. Xx love you guys

If the physical therapy doesn’t relieve the pain I highly recommend going to a chiropractor to get X-rays and see if it’s treatable. Lots of doctors will either recommend surgery or continue to mask the pain with medication in lieu of chiropractic care.
