I wash my hair every 2-5 days. When I put in my earrings I put Vaseline or neosporin on both the part that goes in my ear and on the backing. That tends to help my ears not get irritated by the earrings.

@@unapologeticallyamy9031 Have you tried Real Gold 14k/18k or implant grade titanium earrings? They are the two best types for piercings. I can't wear anything other than those because of my nickel allergy. I wear hypoallergenic but they eventually wear out. I have 5 ear piercings and one nose piercing but honestly I can't wear any cheap jewelry... even necklaces, rings and bracelets. implant grade titanium has no filler metals so technically no sensitivities (unless someone is allergic to titanium which I've never heard of). :)
@Janeth.melissa2 жыл бұрын
Make sure you rough blow dry at least the roots of the extensions if you’re going to let the rest of your air dry! If you leave the roots of the extensions wet for too long the wefts shrink and tightens therefore more pressure on the bead that’s on your scalp!

I have has sensitive ears FOREVER!! I have lost count at how many time I have "repierced" my ears over 52 years! I just have to buy surgical steel or stainless earrings. There is also hypoallergenic out there too but have yet to try them. Pretty much what I was told was to make sure my earrings did not contain nickel. Apparently it is a cheap filler for earrings and causes problems for many. I have discovered Paparazzi and love them! Nickel free and only $5.00 for anything!! Nope, not a seller or anything just sharing a great find for little $ for those of us that suffer and want pretty things...LOL! The struggle is real!!

Do NOT take your CHILDREN on a cruise!!!! You HAVE TO watch the 60 Minutes Australia piece on KZbin about “the real cost of cruises” or something like that. I will leave you with just this little tidbit: did you know that police or Interpol jurisdiction does not exist for cruise ships? They are based out of these incredibly small, permissive countries that will do literally nothing if a crime occurs on board a ship from petty theft to murder (which best believe has happened). If one of your children, God forbid, was kidnapped no one will even investigate! Not the FBI not Interpol, no one!!!!!

Put your hair up like you did to show us the extensions, wash the top half of your head in the kitchen sink or lean over the tub or use a sprayer if you have one (buy one that adapts to the tub faucet!) and when that’s washed put it in a bun the same way you did when you showed us your extensions again, get in the shower and wash the extensions and bottom half of your hair then. That way when you get out of the shower your top half of hair is up and out of the way and you can rough blow dry the extensions, let the top half down and rough dry the top half at the roots so that you don’t leave them wet - voilà

Like probably a bazillion people already commented….it’s a nickel allergy. Clear fingernail polish on the posts does work great. If you opt for gold or silver jewelry make sure it’s not “plated” because it’s a very thin layer over top of the nickel & can still irritate your skin. Also, white gold jewelry lower then 24k is commonly made with nickel so you’d have to test that out yourself to see if it irritates you. ☺️ hope this helps!

You can bring heavy duty magnet hooks and hang them on the wall to hold bags or coats 3. Bring a waterproof bag or a Ziploc bag on the island to put wet bathing suits or towels if you change 4. For your EARRING issue: If you put a tiny bit of OTC hydrocortisone creme on the posts before you put the earrings in your ear they wont itch or react to the metals in earrings. It also will help on rings and other jewelry from leaving green/black marks on your skin. My daughter coats her necklaces in creme after she showers all the time so her BFF necklace doesnt turn her neck green.

I know conditioner is not for your scalp so conditioning is good to do on the lengths rather than the roots. Also if you don’t rinse it completely out it will weigh down your hair. It’s always good to clean your earrings with alcohol before putting them in and I always use coconut oil on the bar before putting them in so it slips in easily.

No experience with extentions. But I wash my hair every week (sometimes every 2 weeks). And a wash day consists of washing, conditioning, styling. All in al it takes about an hour in 2 blocks. The rest of the week I brush it maybe once ever other day and sprits with a tiny bit of water when shaking it lose in the morning. I LOVE this routine, my hair has become way more manageble. And especially when you are decent with braids etc you can always make a bad hair day work. And they will become less and lass

Okay, you probably won't see this, Jess, but let me tell you about cheapie earrings from my own point of view. Quick back story, I was born with eczema and I never grew out of it. I have skin sensitivities galore with cheapie jewelry. Especially earrings. Nickel is a big no no for ANYONE with piercings. You can develop sensitivities, or an allergy like me, to nickel, which is in ALL jewelry except implant grade titanium, 14k-18k gold, and yes it is in hypoallergenic jewelry (ask me how i know). Your best bet, is to use hypoallergenic cheapie jewelry to wear for a little while OR you can spend a little more for gold or implant grade titanium. OH Walmart has some pretty decent hypoallergenic earrings that I can wear long term, and it is cheap. When they start to irritate my ears I just throw them away because the hypoallergenic stuff has worn off. :) If not for you, you can get Addie the more expensive jewelry because her skin is so fair, like me, that she may have more skin sensitivities as she ages. My mom had to buy me real gold jewelry throughout the years. And yes I have gotten more piercings. Second holes in my lobes and a upper ear cartilage piercing. And at 32, I just got my nose pierced. Just be very careful what jewelry you buy... and if you are only wearing it for a couple hours the costume jewelry should be fine, just put some hydrocortisone cream on it when you take it out.

Highly suggest getting a good extension brush! U can get one off bellami’s website, or u can get any boar bristle brush that also has normal brushes! The matrix extension shampoo and conditioner dried my natural and extensions out bad! I now use pureology hydrate which is waaayyyy better! ALWAYS blow dry! Even if u just gotta blow dry ur weft only. Other wise it will almost like wrinkle. Oil! Oil oil oil! I can not say that enough! Because they don’t get the oil from ur scalp so they get really dry!

Fun fact, I live in the border with the US, in Mexico it’s pretty normal to wash your hair every day. I wash mine every day because I can’t stand the grease on it (although I know it’s good for your hair) I can’t go more than two days without washing it 😩 When I went to the us to study I found out many girls at my school did not wash their hair daily and they would use dry shampoo instead and thought it was really weird, later on I noticed it’s something pretty normal on the US to not wash your hair daily 🤷🏻♀️
@bumpybackroads15812 жыл бұрын
Yep, it is better for your hair for you to not wash it every day. because the washing your hair every day strips the natural oils that help your hair retain moisturize. It does take a little while for your hair/body to adjust at first. because your body is used to having to replenish the oils in your hair from you showering daily, but once it realizes that you are going to be consistent with washing your hair once every 5 or 7 days, it will begin better regulate the amount of oil that it is producing. and your hair won't look greasy or feel gross after day one or two. It will just look & feel, well... normal. like hair. lol But a lot of people also don't have the energy to shower daily or more than 2 times a week 🙋🏻♀(me
