La sua divinità africana che la caratterizzava sia nei gesti sia nell glamour regale ;credo contenesse il meglio di ciò che una Voce divenuta strumento di Armonie sovrane potesse esprimere...la sua infinita malinconia.....e un viso di una bellezza senza pari....oggi godrà della festa che gli angeli e i musicisti e Tutto il Paradiso le avranno preparato in Cielo. I had the great luck of being at the Cour de l'Archevéché in Aix-en-Provence in 1984 to listen to her, a great evening, very moving... what I remember of her is her joy and incredible generosity to sing for others. Quite a star indeed, a real one, but as well it was amazing how simply giving and natural she was... ;-)
