Fjord was seemingly the only Half-Orc in an orphanage in Port Damali. Mocked by kids growing up (and probably not treated well by adults). As he grew up he never really would form bonds with people as most seemingly treated him poorly because of his heritage. Seeing as the coast has a large naval influence, Fjord joined a ship Captained by Vandrin. Vandrin would treat Fjord with the same respect that he showed the rest of his crew (which would dramatically influence Fjord). At some point in time, a man named Sabian sabotaged the ship causing it to explode and sink. Fjord awoke on a beach with the Sword of Fathoms . Shortly there after Fjord meets up with Jester in the Menagerie Coast and they head further inland. Shortly after that the two meet Beau, and shortly after that the campaign begins.
