some but not all, anti cheat is being worked on. Its still competitive even if that small minority continues to micro peen their side of it

There are restrictions being placed in most leagues like BCL/VRML where players are required to record their footage of their matches to discourage cheating. Also, other major games with leagues are still susceptible to hacks that compromise match integrity (think Apex) so having cheaters exist doesn't immediately mean a game can't be competitive lol.
