I just to have a 2008 kawasaki terry’s 750cc I hated it so loud .so slow . Horrible suspension Was really super strong and reliable but loud and slow and the heat would come from the middle and was carburetor 2009 .came with fuel injection. In sold my

Speed is not why you buy this. Its a workhorse and does great for working.

Very nice bike. Would be perfect for my trapline in Northwestern Ontario. I was considering the Honda Pioneer 700 deluxe until I seen this review. I believe the Kawasaki has more power than the Honda 700. Couple of questions. How does it start in really cold weather ? What is the fuel consumption of this unit ? Can you get a hard cab enclosure fitted with a cab heater / windshield and wiper ? Thanks'

YES! Like I said in the video, little things like that make a difference, a nice glove box set up and the steering wheel is like rubberized and grippy and cush, way better wheel then any mule or Teryx!

Kawasaki makes a great product John but again they limit KZbin that 45 50 mile an hour and also I don't know why they don't put the same wheels and tires that they do on the Teryx 14 x 27 thanks for the video

That's where we come in lol. We have been griping about limiters for years, maybe someday they will listen what the consumer wants. But still 45 in a utility machine is booking if you ask me haha.

@@HesterEdition thanks for getting back John so how would you categorize a Terex would you say that that's a utility like the mule or just a utility on a little bit of steroids considering it only goes 5 miles an hour faster than that mule but being in the woods and on tight Trails 50 miles an hour is plenty unless you are on the west coast and you are in the dunes like Glamis or Pismo Beach Etc

@@robw3761 the teryx's are RUV Recreation utility. Less utility more sporty but not pure sport with 100+ hp. Bigger suspension and lots of HP rule the dunes. The teryx's rule the tight technical trails and rock crawling. That's why 50 is way to fast for the type of riding intended, yes you can go do Glamis and have fun, but you won't be throwing big roost and flying through the air on a stock teryx. Big bore, turbo and long travel and you will be well over 100hp to the ground and blow by anything non-turbo. It can be built :)

@@HesterEdition you're absolutely right John if you are on the west coast you definitely want pure sport therefore you need a Polaris turbo 1000 for the dunes like Glamis Pismo Beach Johnson Valley

So how would this model stack up in total against the Yamaha Viking? Which one would you pick? Does the Kawasaki come with factory skid plates like the Viking? Is there much in the aftermarket side of things for the pro-mx?

Not a direct comparison to the viking per say, but between the 2... MX is a 2 seat viking 3 seat (more compaires to mule pro fx or fxr 3 seaters in that single point) the mx is smaller in size, a mid size hence the "M". It will turn alot tighter, has more HP. (41 vs 50). If you want a big bed big load hauler thats the Mule Pro FX. This is a great work and recreation trail vehicle. And best of all 3 year warranty vs 6 mobths on the viking. You know who backs better. I really like these MX mules.

Don't like the new front storage compartment, the older models have more storage , plus a hinged lid with one hand operation. Change it back.

They still make the 4010 4x4s, the pros are much higher tech, smoother, faster with ALOT more power. The MX compaird to the 4010 is ALOT of gain with very little loss.

Great description. You talked slow and hit all the important points to a potential buyer. I'm looking at a used 2019. How "used" would be acceptable? Also I'm a small woman, 5'2", 125 lbs. Am I going to comfortably reach the pedals??

Hey guys, the green 2019 MX I picked up today has the taillights on ALL the time when the engine is running. I saw them on taking it off my trailer and thought maybe I accidentally turned the headlights on. Nope...the taillights are on all the time when the engine is running. Is this normal with the MX? I'm not crazy about this feature.

Yes ALL the pro mules have the rear running lights with the key on. Brake lights are seperate.

Nice, we just tricked one out with 28x10x12 ITP black water tires on stock wheels, glass shield, brush guard, rear bumper and a-arm guards. So beefy looking, 14" ground clearance.

No, just put 28's on and no on the top speed, you gain top speed with new gearing. Speedo will read 45mph your true speed is more like 50, more the. Enough power to pull 28's.

Easy for the teryx to go faster, have the ecu reflashed to remove the governor. As for this mule if we can find a way to crack the ecu to remove the limiter I bet 55 could be seen on it, it has plenty of power.

Yes, the top, shield, back and doors are all separate part numbers and all come together for the cab.

Had some serious interest until they showed off the single cylinder 700 motor. I think kaw missed the mark not putting the twin motor in it for longevity. These machine are just to heavy to play the single cylinder game.

It is a very good engine, 4 valve, liquid cood, easy to maintain and very good HP and torque. It out accelerates the 812cc 3 cylinder pro fx/fxr/fxt model. And is very smooth with its counter balancer.

Good looking. Would you say 45 mph is enough? How does that compare to Rangers and Vikings?

Depending on the ranger they average from 40-55mph, Most of the 800 Rangers are around 45-50 depending on conditions, like windshield or no, calm day or no etc etc. 45mph may not sound like much in a car or truck but in an open air side by side it's booking, only time you can do it is down roads, off-road a lot of times its low range crawling sub 20mph. Think of more like a jeep then a trophy truck

There is very few situations that this system won't do, if you are wanting a mudder where you NEED diff lock, go with a Teryx, we build alot of trick ones and have done some sick mudders.

In this category most common is anywhere from 25-50mph is most common, most of the time you see higher then 50mph is in big RUV (recreation utility vehicles) or as some call cross overs, they have 900-1000cc engines. This one has the power to do well into the 50's, it is limited to 45, mostly for safety reasons. 45 is booking in a small vehicle like this.

Hesters Motorsports yeah this 700 in the Kymco UXV 700 I believe tops around 55 MPH. I know for a fact it’s over 50.

Nothing wrong with that motor for those that don’t like the big single. It’s Kymco’s motor. Same 700 (695cc) that’s in Kymco’s UXV 700 and atv. It’s a good engine. I’m really loving this new pro mx. Kinda wish I had waited and traded my Kymco UXV 450 for one instead of my Honda pioneer 500. But it’s ok. I’m completely happy with my little pioneer. It’s awesome and love the paddle shift 5 speed geared tranny. It’s a billy goat! I’m sure these new midsize mules will sell like crazy. Heck I want one! Lol
