-Verse 4-5 is the Psalmist appealing us take His secret and apply it
-Verse 3 & Verse 3-5 have 3 observations to apply to control anger
--#1 Pause and bring God into the situation
---Do not try to outsize your opponent; Instead, let God make both of you small
--#2 Have God’s relational goal as your agenda for both you and other person
---Do not just try to win an argument as the agenda
---Agenda: How can you both grow in the knowledge of Jesus?
--#3 Trust God for the results
---God has authority over you and the other person; Let Him change the other person
Point 3) Jesus’ More For Us (vv.6-8)
-He wants to shine upon us (v.6)
-He wants to be our joy that outlasts everything on earth (v.7)
-He wants to be our peace (v.8)
-Let this harness anger power for good, not sin
