I came here just for this answer. They swapped C and D in their answer. The order I said was correct just that they swapped the letters. Should’ve been B, A, D, C according to the question.

The Good Samaritan story was about a person so holy that they could forget prejudice and bigotry to help a fellow human. A trait sadly lacking in many Christians today.

Interesting that you say this about this particular parable. One of the main lessons of it speaks to the actual definition of neighbor. It isn't the club/categorization, rather it is the intent and foundation on love. The rabbi belonged to the club, but his actions showed the truth. So it is still today. And this has been true throughout history, and there have been many many "Christians" who have blatantly disregarded this very parable. But Jesus in his foresight mentioned this aspect as well, those who would say didn't they cast out many demons in his name and he would reply he didn't know them. But that's his prerogative and not for us to make that judgment call right?

This is challanging and a pleasure to partisipating in - but may i offer a quizz ? Where do we find the terms Lent and Easter in scripture ? Answer : nowhere , it came from the tradition of men , and of which Christ reminded us to be very carefull of , as it nullifies the commandments of God .

Correct. I know better now also. The Lord has given me opportunities to learn and study. ( 2 Timothy 2:15 ). Kjv. Traditions make the word of God of none affect. Lent.. Good Friday.. not for ME. Question: Jesus Christ was in the grave for 3 days and 3 nights.. according to the scriptures.. right..? Yes. math dont add up using Good Friday. Friday- Sunday is NOT 3 day and 3 nights.

The story of the rich man and Lazarus is never referred to as a parable. Throughout the Bible, when Jesus spoke of parables, it states that he spoke a parable, saying unto them, but those words are never used in regard to Lazarus and the rich man. That is why some people believe that the story of the rich man and Lazarus was a true account that had taken place that Jesus was well aware of.

As well I agree too. This was a TRUE story told by Jesus. NOT a parable. That was a real place in the Old Testament. Where the righteous in Gods eyes went. It was separated by a great gulf. Hell was on the other side. Jesus himself went there after his death on the cross. For 3 days and 3 nights. He preached to the ones in chains …. And such. NOT to burn and finish paying for sins.. that was finished on the cross of calvary. Then when He rose the 3rd day, He took out those in paradise. Led captivity captive. No more Abraham’s bosom. Now when we are saved by trusting the Gospel, that wonderful blood stained message of His death, burial and resurrection.. plus HOW Christ died. .. He shed His blood for forgiveness of sins of the WHOLE world. … We go directly to heaven. Paul says in 2 Corinthians 5:8 .. absent from the body , present with the Lord. Simple trust from the heart, the Gospel Jesus Christ himself revealed to Paul. .. faith in the blood, Be washed clean today!! Forgiven for ALL transgressions.. become a new creature in Christ. SEALED with the holy spirit of promise, til’ the day of redemption.

I agree as well. Jesus is telling about this being a VERY real place. At least until Christ rose on the 3rd day. He took out those in Abraham’s bosom / paradise. Hell enlarged itself that day. Now when we are saved , by trusting the Gospel mentioned in first Corinthians 15:1-4 We go directly to heaven. Absent from the body, present with the Lord.

I read the cepher, it is translated directly from the Hebrew, which the word was originally written in, and Hebrew goes way deeper then any other language, all the rest loose the meaning of the words

Jesus did not call the RIGHTOUS to repentance but sinners! You guys do not understand, but the word of God is you have twisted words you have placed other words in the right words you must understand the Hebrew in the Greek to learn what the Bible is saying to you. Unfortunately, Jesus was killed before he was able to reveal all the truth. That is one reason the Lord of the Second Advent must come in order to reveal the rest of the truth that Jesus desperately wanted to share but couldn't.
