Jesús Castro Balbi is one of the most excellent guitar players nowadays. His performances are outstanding and flawless. Always admirable, Always exceeding the expectations. It makes one hold your breath at such expressiveness and fidelity to the spirit of the works he plays. Bravo Maestro!!!

Natalia, IMO, one of the greatest guitar compositions ever, makes a wonderful duet, this duet arrangement is wonderful, very much enjoyed this. Huge Lauro fan here, wrote some of the most compelling rhythmic pieces for guitar, Bravo to Maestro Castro-Balbi, great player!

His barrios renditions are the best, period. I can't help but to state a common saying when it comes to ppl like Jesús Castro Balbi and some other superb-lative players, if Sinatra was born in south america he wouldnt be Sinatra. The thing about Jesús is that he only cares to deliver his message through music and his talent is truly an example of really convey every aspect of life through playing guitar. Talk about a man this disciplined and as talented yet so full of feeling when you hear him play, he truly plays with his heart and not with his fingers. And that is a feat i ve never thought i could say about a classical guitarist, and yeah, i'm a dick but c'mon, ive seen plenty classical players in order to learn and steal from them but always went empty handed when it came to trying to find some flavour and swagger out of them so the tunes won't sound like dead notes put together nicely. Then i found barrios vía Jesús Castro Balbi s renditions, and it really transfigured me, they both made a believer, since i'm more of an colour chaser when it comes to guitar playing. I really love j Williams but i always struggle to find something moving about the music he plays, his playing is a great gift btw.
