A lot of churches could for sure especially if they pooled resources. Mega Christian churches, Catholic Church, Mormon church which is the richest church in the world. Arguably almost 1 trillion with all assets considered just in Mormon church. All churches of the world? Absolutely could end world hunger. 100% agree.

If the Catholic Church is worth $200 billion as you say and divided that $200 billion equally between 10 billion people we’d all get a whopping $20. This is why people generally think before they speak a couple seconds of math could’ve proved even to you how fruitless what you said is.

@ a little education comes in handy too. There are about 1.2 billion people in extreme poverty on a planet of 8 billion people total. Obviously dividing that money between people and just giving that to them is asinine. 200 billion is $166 American for those 1.2 billion. But if you put that into infrastructure, like wells, farms, jobs, schools and so on it’s a lot better than prayer and little else. Of course it’s not as simple as that but still. Religion is a complete waste of resources. There are trillions tied up into churches and religion. The world doesn’t need it anymore. Time for mankind to move on from the Bronze Age mythology.

Religion is about control. Good or bad acts by the church have all been done in service to this one goal. They would end hunger and poverty overnight if they thought they could dominate the world in exchange.
