I saw this in person. It was everything you could ask for as a theatre fan. Staging was incredible, and the singing was incredible. Definitely on my top 5 shows of all time.

It's a good thing that Ryan Shaw didn't do the Original LP or the Movie!!! Because we'd all be left with just his version of Judas for the rest of time because NOBODY [Out of all the versions of Judas that I've seen and heard]; could sing with such Soul and Hit those High notes like he does here.

its a good performance but its missing all the sarcasm, this is supposed to be Judas's finale "screw you" but also his "Come to Jesus" moment where he realizes his own mistake and none of that's here

I saw this cast live and while Ryan Shaw (playing Judas) was a phenomenal singer, it was clear he isn’t an actor by trade. He was a little stiff and didn’t fully develop the Judas character in my opinion. Heath Saunders as Jesus was incredible both in acting and singing and really stood out in a big way. Unfortunately you don’t get to see that in this clip. Overall it was a great cast and show though.

It isn't supposed to be sarcastic. Judas isn't mocking Jesus. Judas is wondering. He's questioning. He wants to know the circumstances of all these events that have happened. Especially he wants to know why he himself committed suicide. He wants to know why Jesus did things like this if he truly was the son of God.😊

Saw this cast live in Pittsburgh and was going again in Columbus in May before it was cancelled. They were about as true to the concept album as any rendition has ever been. Note for note, cast member by cast member, they basically recreated the original and it was absolutely fantastic. If you like the concept album, you would be blown away.
