also, ps 133:18 says that God's thoughts for us are more countless than the sand. if God is obsessed with us this way, I think he has called us to reciprocate, especially after the work He did on the cross. really, all of ps 139 is a good example of how God is very close to us. He gave us things like friendship, family, and marriage as (imperfect) examples of the relationship he wants with us. it also talks about how he is acquainted with our suffering in Isiah 53:3. he did that all for us!

the kind of obsession is actually right. Jesus often referred to himself in the New Testament as a bridegroom coming for his Bride. as pc69248 said, God calls us to a deep and intimate relationship with him. in Genesis when it talks about Adam knowing Eve, it is referring to a deep knowledge of the person. song of Solomon is another good example. it's not just for couples to read to each other, I believe it's God saying those things to us. I hope you understand.

The object of God's wrath is Satan, who is pure uncompromising evil. Hell was created for him, not for man (or in Greek "fitted" for him). Men only go there as a consequence of Satan being their spiritual father; they simply inherit what their father deserves. Satan become the spiritual father of all men once Adam sinned and mankind was separated from God. Out of love God sent his son to pay the price for that sin and reconcile man to God. Now a person is only lost by rejecting that sacrifice.

God can not allow everyone into heaven because then there would have been no need for God to send his son to die on the cross. God gave us the most phenomenal gift of a free thinking mind/conscience. Free will, is an attribute of the Godhead. Let that sink in. God can't simply allow an unbeliever into heaven. Simply, knowing about God is not that same as fellowshiping/walking with him.

I'm sorry, but if I heard this song on a secular radio station I wouldn't think this was about God at all. This is almost a quasi-erotic song which leans on romantic images... none of which is Biblical.
