My only thought would be - at least based on the kids I'm around - it could be a little long. Might be the kind of things to watch in short clips. I love the idea of something for kids about Jesus' brith. I'll put that on my list of future topics!

I also have a comprehension problem and the verbiage also is a struggle. I watch The Chosen because it helps me understand Jesus and his disciples and what he was sent to the earth to accomplish. Then my niece told me to ask the Holy Spirit to guide me to someone to help me understand scripture and I was guided to you. Thank you for helping me to understand more about the scripture. Great historical, cultural and spiritual insight. I feel, for me, when we go beyond our Westernized modern lens of understanding scripture and get insight into the spiritual, cultural and linguistic Jewish roots of scripture, and of all those dynamics during the time Jesus , it reveals to my heart and spirit how even more dynamic all of Gods word is. Just to clarify Herod didn’t kill John the Baptist because he was a nuisance or a threat. He had him imprisoned for those reasons, but he had him killed only because he’d offered Salome anything she wanted and that’s what she (actually her mother the Queen) wanted.

Lent of 2022 was my most spiritually fulfilling of all. Our Church was doing a 40-day devotional, Journey to the Cross. The members are attempting the Bible in one year. And then, all The Chosen episodes, over and over. Now, we all had the added gift of Brandon Robbins. You managed to expand on Scripture and help me to better understand what was going on at the time. This encouraged me to keep referring back to the Bible. Granted, I have many more Books I haven't read, but, boy, I am so eager to keep going. Thank you so much 💖

Brandon, thank you for bringing something up. How so many Pastors have gone on to label, Thomas, as "Doubting Thomas." This has bothered me for so long! Critical Christian pastors that cannot see beyond THEIR MANY fallacies in order to write a sermon. We Christians can be so critical of everyone else... but ourselves.
