Not lower than the angels--the Word in Hebrew is Elohim--not angels! At least according to Strong's concordance.

Hebrews 2:7"You made Him a little lower than the angels;" from Psalm 8:4-6 Strongs 830 Elohim=God the Father, God the Son, Holy Spirit. Also verse 7 "and put EVERYTHING under His feet." I would think everything would include the angels. I am not a Bible scholar so I may be wrong--I do like to look up words and investigate passages of scripture. Have a blessed day.
