You just have to commit to speak to him everyday, just as a friend. So that you'll build a bridge (relationship) with him. Just like any friendship you have; If you don't talk to each other, how will you sustain your friendship ? So just commit (even if you feel sad/ashamed/tired/not being heard because this is how satan fights). And then you'll find yourself thirsty to talk to him even more from the love he'll put in you.

When I did sleep, I lost breath in my sleep, had nightmares so bad I jumped out of my bed and fell over everything. After nearly three days, I walked into the bathroom, I looked into the mirror and felt this enormous peace come right over me that I simply CAN'T explain. A voice from the inside said "Peace". Every bit of my depression lifted off of me and I never felt so great. I later that day learned that the Christians down the street was praying for me. Guess what? It worked. The next day I started back to church, almost a year after I had left from faith. You don't know what faith is, until you have suffered for it.

Yes, Jesus is in heaven. And He put the Holy Spirit in my heart. When I read something or hear something about Jesus, I have discernment that tells me if what I am seeing lines up with truth, or not, because of Bible Study and the Holy Spirit. When I watch this show and see the way this actor portrays Jesus, I feel like it is “capturing” some of the truth of His love and character like I have never seen on film. I also know the heart of the creator of the series, and he loves and serves the Lord with all His heart. I believe that God is using him to better show us, and also those who don’t know Jesus, how Jesus came for all of us and that His love is so great. It is absolutely a show. It can never replace scripture or a relationship with Jesus. But it can and does enhance my relationship with Jesus and helps as I read scripture. I feel like I am looking deeper into the meaning and loving my Lord even more. I can see how you wondered about my statement. But you are right, Jesus is the one and only. The Chosen is just the best portrayal of Him that I have ever seen! And I am so very thankful for it. I believe people will come to know the real Jesus better because of it.

Worship and obey Allah, the One Who created us and the universe out of nothing, because there is no God but Allah.Jesus was born without a father. Adam was born without a father, too. Do you call him the son of God, too? Jesus opened the eyes of the blind and raised the dead. Abraham did not light a fire either. The staff of Moses turned into a snake, and when it struck the sea, the sea split. Do you call them the sons of God, too? These are the miracles that Allah gave to his prophets to prove their prophethood.Jesus ate and drank water like us. How can someone who eats and drinks like me be a son of god?Eating and drinking is a sign of weakness. How can someone who eats and drinks like me create me?How is it that a person's painful death on the cross atones for other people's sins? Does this make sense? Is it possible for a person to be sinless to prove that he is the son of God?Like Abraham and Moses, Jesus is a prophet of God. We also love Jesus.The Bible is the book of God. But later it was replaced by humans.The Qur'an, which was given to Muhammad the last prophet of Allah 1500 years ago,is full of scientific miracles such as the expansion of the universe, orbits of planet, the movement of mountains and the development of the baby in the mother's womb. People were able to learn them with the development of science.If you want to learn the realities of life, escape the torment of hell and live happily ever after in heaven, you must read the Qur'an and get to know the prophet Muhammad.

@jazshas5 жыл бұрын
@@jackdaniels9179 He has given evidence that he is real to many of us. There are innumerable testimonies from people who have come to know Jesus Christ. I am now 60 and received Jesus as my Lord and Savior at the age of 17. I came to know him through reading my Father's little paperback of the Gospel of John in the auditorium on my lunch breaks in high school. He became so real to me and I developed a relationship with him. Then one night after watching a movie I went upstairs and looked out the window into the heavens and repented to God for every sin I had ever committed in my life and asked God to forgive me. I was sorry from the depths of my soul. It was like the earth stood still, then all of a sudden my hands raised in the air and I began to worship and praise God. Nobody had to tell me to do it. The Holy Spirit came inside of my spirit and I was born again. Those of us who have been redeemed know God is real. This is not about religion. Anybody can choose a religion, but the one and only true God desires relationship. God the father wants to be reconnected to his offspring. We were separated from him through Adam's sin which fell upon all flesh. God is a Holy and just God. Sin can not stand in his presence and must be judged. Justice demands this. When someone breaks a law that affects you, you want justice. For example, if someone were to harm your loved one or destroy your property, there is a penalty and you desire it to be paid. You want justice. God sent Jesus the Messiah to pay the penalty for the sins of the world: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. John 3:16-17 KJV Man is born with a sin nature. No one has to teach us to lie, cheat, steal, commit adultery, or bear false witness against a neighbor. Sin is inherent in every human being and is the reason there will never be peace on earth. Look at the condition of this world. It will not change until Jesus returns. God's Judgement is coming to this world. He has provided the way out through his son Christ Jesus. Be reconciled to God. ...But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:8-10 KJV

This is why I'm an antitheist now...religious indoctrination ruins lives. I mean it forced you into living a lie for 43 years of your life and it clearly hindered your critical thinking skills. I'm sorry for enlightening you to this but I wish you the best of luck in coming to terms with it.

Jack Daniels rationally and logically speaking, Jesus was no more than a prophet and messenger of God. God is not a trinity or 3. He’s only 1 God and he’s nothing like his creation. God does not die like Jesus died. God does not feel fatigue, or get hurt, or need to pray to anyone like Jesus clearly does in the Bible. Jesus ate, slept, bathed and was weak and couldn’t do things without the will of the father and the Christians take him as Lord when Jesus never asked them to worship him. Most Christians base their truth on pure emotions and never actually bring forward the evidences. It’s just an emotional rollercoaster. These producers make an emotional movie to tap into the hearts of people making it seem like a movie has any kind of truth it. Just because something makes you feel tingly inside doesn’t make it the truth. The evidence is the Bible. That’s the only way they know anything about Jesus. Take a look at the numerous contradictions etc.

I wouldn't say he's taking pleasure, as he knows we suffer and those who have surrendered to him are looking for healing and mercy. His pleasure would be us using the free will the father has given us to make the world a better place, which is a difficult task for each and every one us. The second you judge others, you have failed his "pleasure". I am not innocent of this but try every day. Our "Humanity" is extremely flawed and Jesus is the guide, our light. His divinity is what we try to replicate, not imitate. Also recognize that in other "Christians", those who replicates are of the lord, those who imitate are not.

"Yet it PLEASED the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the PLEASURE of the LORD shall prosper in his hand." Isaiah Chapter 53 Verse 10 "And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us." This is one of my fav scenes. No words. Jesus' depth of compassion and desire to free the lost and broken is the reason He died. No one is beyond His reach or too dirty to receive His forgiveness. I love you Jesus.

Seeing the response to this is almost as powerful, to me, as the clip itself... It is a striking testament to just how desperate we are as human beings for healing and reconciliation, how hungry we are for a divine touch---millions of fingers reaching out from all over the globe, all of us wanting to be "cleansed" ourselves... And we can be. The time is short, my friends. As the old hymn says: "Come home, come home... Ye who are weary come home."

The Chosen has made such an impact in my life. I have seen and read so much about my Savior and Lord, but nothing compares with this. I am urging everyone to watch and “live” the greatest biography of all.

I wonder if they're going to talk about how god and Jesus condone slavery or that a female rape victim must marry her rapist if her father wishes it or how homosexuals and disagreeable children and witches are to be stoned until dead? Etc..or if they're just going to pick out the parts that make Christianity look good while ignoring the parts that make it bad.

@@jackdaniels9179 you read the Bible for yourself and co.e to the conclusion Jesus is perfect body one else was rahab was a prositute idk what gave you this idea that everyone is perfect David was an adulter but Jesus uses broken people God loves us DESPITE these things he hates sin not the people who commit them but when you know better you so better but it's a choice he's doesn't force anything he's loving kind and he'll love you no matter what but you have to reach out to him and the Bible and prayer is how you communicate with him....

@@janderson947 hahaha so if I condone the owning and beating of another human being and NEVER change my mind on this point, I'm just imperfect?!? No different from someone who chews with their mouth open, huh? Lol ok, Jan.
@janderson9475 жыл бұрын
@@jackdaniels9179 um no two different things chewing with your mouth open is a no and beating another person that's just proved youre violent not imperfect and he gives them choices he could force others to believe but he wants ur Heart by your will and in time your Will becomes his he knows your whole story you just see a small piece and do not call me Jan.....
@jackdaniels91795 жыл бұрын
@@janderson947 but it's funny like that meme "ok, Jan" from the Brady bunch...and it's kinda your name lol But anyway I've had to educate Christians on this point of their own Bible ad nauseum which is ridiculous since I'm no longer a Christian lol...so no offense but I know how this goes. I tell you how Exodus 21 clearly prescribes HOW one should own and beat another human being which isn't just a choice...it's explicit instructions...and this point is never formally corrected in the bible...even the NT. Jesus just says, "slaves obey your earthly masters no matter how cruel" (terrific guy, that Jesus) lol. Then you say "no it's servitude" or "slavery was ok back then" or "there are other passages in the Bible that one could argue condemns slavery" or some other absurd haphazard excuse. Then I call you a fool who is sacrificing his humanity and morality to justify his God explicitly offering permission and instructions for how severely to beat your slave and how to keep him for life by giving him a family and using them as ransom. Then you claim I'm just making an ad hominem attack because you picked up the term on a recent apologetic video and think it applies here so you parrot it. Or you go down a rabbit hole on morality where I show you that morals CANT come from God and MUST arrive naturally. And you deny this without reason and keep making the same points over and over and over again which I've already debunked. And you never once acknowledge the fact that you've been unable to even address a single point I've made. On the contrary you will probably say that you've answered every one of my points and I failed to do the same. So I just su.med up about 3 days of going back and forth in this one comment. And look at that! All this fighting over this and God STILL hasn't chosen to reveal himself to end our feud. Funny that...

Oh my goodness! The utter humility and emotion shown is overwhelming! Once again, another beautiful scene. We read these stories over and over, but we never realize the depth of what happened. Thank you @Dallas and cast and crew.
