Oh my, I clicked on this video by mistake, without even realising I had clicked on it (it was a computer lag sort of thing -- I think it might've been the Holy Spirit), and I realised your name... I heard your covers on KZbin when I was a child/teen!!! (P.S. If you see this comment, it was your cover of Wishing by Kanae Nishino, which you uploaded 11 years ago) P.P.S I so relate to what you said around 7:40 about knowing you would cry if you started singing (from feeling loved, right?), and especially what you said about not wanting your parents to see your faith because you didn't want to give them that satisfaction. Those thought processes are all too familiar for me.

Thank you for sharing your testimony, wisdom, and your journey with Christ. I relate to so many aspects of your testimony and God has been opening my eyes to so many things recently and I can feel the spiritual battle! I am realizing in my mid 40s that walking with God is literally a moment by moment walking with Him and paying attention to His will at all times and for all things. I also need to “munch” on His word and not the things that fill my stomach but still leave me empty. Thank you my fellow sister in Christ!
@SayuleeMusic9 ай бұрын
oh wow I feel like if we were having a conversation face to face, we would be totally on the same wavelength! Totally get you! I pray God will show you just how satisfying munching on his word can be when you begin to trust Him to fill you with him self through it. And as you do I pray that all the other "fillers" in life will begin to fade in to the background with less and less appeal

I can relate to the agony of destroying the dreamcatcher your brother gave you. My Dad, whom I was estranged from for 20 years gave me a unique gift after we reconciled and just a few months before his death. It was something only he and I would understand, something that reminded us both of better times. Unfortunately, the Holy Spirit really pressed me to get rid of this item, that it was inappropriate. I know my Dad went to some trouble to make it, but I finally burned it. Shortly after, I had a dream my Dad was sitting in a church pew and I sat and talked with him while he smiled at me. So, everything is fine and I'm glad I listened to the Holy Spirit although it was very difficult at the time. Thank you for your testimony🙏🙂
@SayuleeMusic9 ай бұрын
Oh WOW!!! I’ve never talked to anyone that can relate to that pain as most people seem to find it so easy to get rid of things. And they usually are for me. But like you say, when there’s a real act of love behind that gift it’s harder eh? I didn’t even know that dream catchers were bad then!!! lol it was years later that i found they were demonic lol. Thank God we have the Holy Spirit to guide us eh??? God bless you ❤❤❤❤

I just listened to (most of) Sayulee's testimony (fell asleep during middle; went back to replay). I noticed the "La Rochelle" in your name. There is a rich history in the city of La Rochelle as the major French Huguenot stronghold. Cardinal Richelieu managed to destroy it (during period of 30 Years War). Ironically, he also arranged to support Gustavus Adolphus of Sweden during the same time period; his aims were quite devious yet he was largely successful in his goals. Hopefully this is enough of a "teaser" for you to investigate this deep part of history, of which most are unaware. Yay for the Huguenots ! They were heros !
@blessedtobealive9 ай бұрын
What do you mean when you say "I remember God saying"? How did he say it? Are you talking about an audible voice or just a 'knowing'? I really would like to understand what people mean when they say God tells them something because it feels like He hates me sometimes because He's NEVER spoken to me in any way that I can recognise. Edit: you explained that you're not sure sometimes whether it's God speaking to you at 37:20. Then how can you claim it was him?
@sumire.s.9 ай бұрын
If you are interested, Mark Virkler's teaching on how to hear God's voice is often helpful for people starting out on learning to recognize how He speaks. It's very rarely an audible voice, but an inner knowing. Like anything we do, it takes honing and is not infallible (for example, even Olympic athletes make mistakes, especially in unfamiliar environments / equipment, etc.). Nevertheless, you can build up spiritual "muscle" that you can count on (and also build a community to help discern when you aren't sure). Hope this helps.
@SayuleeMusic9 ай бұрын
Hey!! Thank you for taking the time to comment. Definitely not an audible voice. I've never heard an audible voice at all. When you here a lot of christians talking about how they heard from God, it's often an inner voice, a gentle quite voice from within. Sometimes it even sounds like/feels like it's your own thoughts or your own voice. But over time you get to discern which voice is from the Lord, which is from the enemy and which is just your own. As for me sometimes it feels like a light inner whisper and sometimes a more obvious burden from within, sometimes like an image I see in my mind, or a particular word etc.This is probably how it is for a lot of people. The more you get to know Him through time with Him in the word and in prayer and worship, the more you get to know his voice. The more you act on his voice and step out the more you end up with a track record to know that you heard right! Which give you more faith for the next time. You know what I mean?! I hope that makes sense. I pray that God will point you to the right resources to learn more about this area, that He would stir up your hunger to hear from His voice and you will begin a journey of starting to recognize his voice in your daily living! God bless xxx
@samjubilee65939 ай бұрын
I also have a problem with hearing God's voice. Just listened to Sayulee's testimony and felt encouraged by it (tho it does not have many big dramatic moments that some other testimonies have). I hear others talk of God giving them specific direction/instruction. I'm 73 years old and will be entering eternity not that far down the road; really need to overcome double mindedness in my life.

Why did your parents move your family to New Zealand? If your dad didn’t have a job?
@SayuleeMusic9 ай бұрын
They were pastors in Japan then needed a change after decades of the church not growing at all etc. asked for some signs from the lord which all came true. So they came to NZ which is where my mum is from and all her family are here. He was told he could get a job straight away but then couldn’t! The government at the time was over promising to people outside of NZ that there was a lot of work etc. and many came to NZ but ended up jobless. He got a job after some God miracles and a couple of years though 🎉

@@SayuleeMusic thanks so much for clearing that up! lol. I really enjoyed hearing your testimony! I can’t imagine the torment you went through with the itchy illness. I struggled with something similar on my arms several years. It’s so amazing that God healed you of that! I was born again in 2015, and saved from decades of drug and alcohol addiction and a new age spiritual belief system. The Lord poured out His grace on me for several years after I hit rock bottom and cried out to Him. Unfortunately I relapsed and fell away; grieving the Holy Spirit during the lockdown. Today I am sober and working to return to my first love and give up my worldly ways and rebuild my relationship with Him. It’s not always easy, but He is surely the most important thing in this life and beyond.

Good morning Sayulee. My name is Roy. Sayulee, I would like to share a few things with you. I hope this helps. God is the Creator. His Word the Bible was written over a period of many years. Genesis to Revelation. Speaks of creation, creation of man. The sin of man which brought in death. Later on the destruction of the earth by a flood. The repopulation of the earth by Noah.and his sons. Shem, Ham.Japheth. Gods later choosing Abraham and the promise to him of thru him all the nations of earth be blessed. Thru him Issac, Jacob. The 12 tribes of Israel. . Anyway. Later there was Moses and God giving him the Law. To shorten this. I would encourage you to know and find a King James Bible. 1769 version. And seek what it says about God. Salvation. God is loving,merciful.But he also is holy And cannot tolerate sin. He has in times past destroyed nations for it. So much to say. There is a thing called dispensations. But today salvation is by grace thru faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ alone. Not of works, lest any man should boast. I'll pray that God will help your understanding ang guide you to the truth
