Regarding pubs - it's true that alcohol gives you a buzz for a while, then you go home and feel as bad as before BUT....people are also seeking love, affection and fellowship. They see friends, rejoice with them and weep with them. Let's make sure that's what we offer when they DO come through the doors of our churches, is sustained nurturing and Godly love, so they will continue walking with God. I've been born again for many years so this is said in all sincerety and without cynicism.
