Jesus, Lion of the tribe

You are the Lion of the tribe of Judah,
Judah meaning praise that is in order,
To God Almighty, from a heart joy filled,
Where Christ is King to be worshiped.
You created the sun, moon and stars,
the earth, the seas and the heavens,
Yet you are loving enough to notice,
To care for the small Sparrow on that tree.
The sun shines on all under its warmth,
Giving your loving care on cold autumn days,
Reminding of one of your loving ways,
In caring for your creation in mankind.
Indeed you are the Lion of the tribe,
Yet you also became the Lamb to save,
And redeem mankind from sin's darkness,
Into your godly light that is eternal life.
