People have made idols that look like Christ for a long time whether it’s about grace that gives license to sin or Christ that is an “ascended master” or some spiritual guru, or Jesus as a socialist for political purposes. And this movement has elements of that too, but I also know people In the original movement were saved too so it’s as black and white as you may think I see it. But it is black and white when it comes to the biblical Jesus and idols.

The Bible says the Holy Spirit convicts us of sin and points us to Christ. He does not bring glory to Himself. Feelings, signs and wonders are not the gospel. Without the gospel, that is there is forgiveness of sin through faith in the completed works of Jesus Christ and His death on the cross, all that happens is the creation of a multitude of false converts marching merrily on to hell. Discernment is required
