James 1:21 Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word (Christ!), which is able to save your souls. We are His holy temple, His sanctuary, His dwelling place.. and from out thís holy temple He will soon manifest His final appearances as 1Thes 4 have it! Jesus has made us óne with Himself at the cross! John 14:20 + 17:22,23 It's only the carnal mind that still pictures distance and separation.

A donkey and a colt A donkey was a symbol of suffering and peace in Jewish tradition. Mary rode a donkey on her way to Bethlehem. Jesus rode in on a colt donkey and brought the adult donkey along. The donkey represents the old covenant (the law) and the colt represents the new covenant (salvation). A colt always follows the donkey; it never leads the donkey. Jesus did not ride in on the donkey because the old covenant (the law) was ushering in the new covenant. As long as Jesus was alive (before His resurrection) the world was still under the law. Jesus brought in the new covenant.

Most interesting. I learned that the donkey hates to be broken, he bucks an ill even bite until he trust the owner.. So i can see if the request for an unbroken donkey may have been shocking to his friends.. Also, palms were used to show victory. They were used for many years to show victory by conquering armies entering citys. They shouted, "hosanna" which not only means honor and praise but can mean, "please save us!" Also, with all that said, I think the "donkey" is really US. LOL I bet this was sort of a private joke with Jesus and his father.

@@chamillieonn Yes, we all know that. I was asking why the first day of the (working) week, as the Bible calls it, is named after the SUN which is how most Christians describe it, "Sun"-day. God created the sun and moon, but forbade the worship of the heavenly bodies as the pagans did, yet Christians fully use the names of days named in honour of the SUN ("Sun"-day) and the MOON ("Monday"), and the other 5 days are named after other gods, TIW, WODEN, THOR, FREYA & SATURN. If God did not call this day "Palm 'Sun'-day in the Bible, why do Christians name it so? I wasn't asking WHEN it happened, but WHY Christians name it after pagan sun worship? 🌞 I thought the Church and Christians who claim to be counter-cultural would have avoided that.
