"Jesus Thirsts:" Filmmakers share their hopes for the film

A new film focusing on the transformative power of the Eucharist is officially in theaters.
“Jesus Thirsts: The Miracle of the Eucharist” takes viewers on a journey to rediscover and revive the importance of the Eucharist through dialogue with notable Catholic figures by exploring the biblical origins of the Eucharist and sharing personal stories from those whose lives have been impacted by the Blessed Sacrament.
The new feature-length documentary by executive producer Deacon Steve Greco and producers Tim Moriarty and James Wahlberg will be in theaters nationwide June 4, 5, and 6 through Fathom Events. Each date will consist of two showings, a 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. showing in each given time zone.
Several well-known Catholics make an appearance in the film including Father Donald Calloway, Scott Hahn, Jim Wahlberg, Curtis Martin, Chris Stefanick, Father Robert Spitzer, Bishop Andrew Cozzens, and Tim Gray, among others.
CNA spoke with the filmmakers at the premiere of the movie where they shared what they hope people will take away from the film. Here are their responses:
