Hi, thanks for your explanation but here is another and more fact full explanation; Jesus said to her, ‘Do not cling to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to my brothers and say to them, “I am ascending to My Father and Your Father, and My God and your God (John 20:17) Jesus tells Mary, “Do not cling to me.” He simply explains to her that He had not yet ascended to the Father. He was still there, and He wasn’t leaving yet. She didn’t need to hang on to Him as if to keep Him from leaving. He had come back from the dead, and He wasn’t yet going to ascend to the Father. and, further, he says instead of hanging on me, while I am still here, go tell my brothers that I am ascending to my father On the contrary, Jesus tells Thomas to put his fingers in his nails because of his unbelief, these two are different things. Besides, it's nowhere written in the Bible that Jesus went to heaven before the evening on the first day of the week. i was also confused with these two verses and i mixed them but after some researches and digging in the word, i understood that these two verses are not to be confused together.
